After a month of illness, during which I could not stomach anything more than chicken broth and berries, I went on the search for something that would fill in the gaps, so to speak, of what I wasn't getting through my diet. However finding something like these shakes that wasn't sweetened with alternative sweeteners like monk fruit and stevia was like trying to find a needle in a haystack! I was also skeptical about taste, remembering the god awful cartoned nutrition shakes my grandmother had to drink back when I was a child. I didn't want something I was going to have to gag down and torture myself with. I'm sooooo glad I found these! They ticked ALL of the boxes on my check list: sweetened with a small amount of sugar and nothing else (I can't tolerate monk fruit or stevia), TASTY!!! (The chocolate reminds me of Yoohoo! Not sure about the vanilla yet. I've yet to try that one) and nutritious! I wish Orgain would offer a powder that wasn't sweetened with stevia or monk fruit. I'd so be down for trying that, too!

These are a great meal replacement shake for vegans or folks with milk allergies. I had to switch when I developed a milk allergy, and yes, they are higher in sugar/carbs than their milk filled counterparts, but they do the job and taste good. Other vegan options are way more chalky and bitter, and while these can have a little bit of grit if you don't shake well enough or let it settle for too long, it's minor and the solid flavor makes up for it.

I am not a healthy eater, nor have I ever been. I am struggling with a myriad of serious health issues such as Leukemia, Migraines,Type 2 diabetes, IBS and Fibromyalgia...and I am working with my nutritionist to eat more healthily in the hopes of feeling better. When you are a mess like I am depression grips you and you certainly DON’T feel like cooking, especially first thing in the morning. My nutritionist was upset because I would take my morning pills and not eat anything until late morning when I would start to feel somewhat human. Thank goodness I could grab a chocolate Vegan Shake (oh, did I forget)? Lactose intolerant here, OF COURSE! At first, I tried the Non-vegan option and it was really good-almost a treat! My stomach was bothered, however and when I switched to these I was a bit letdown until my nutritionist said “oh, you enjoy being sick? Don’t be a baby.” Wahhhhhh? You know what? I stuck to it and she was right. These vegan shakes took a bit getting used to because I’m just not accustomed to eating “healthy.” I was so used to eating junk and getting sick afterwards, I just needed time to adjust my tastebuds to something new. Plus, it’s nice to not to have serious stomach issues or GERD all the time. Did this one shake cure all my health issues- OF COURSE NOT. But i now find it tastes good and I look forward to using it as a healthy way of starting my day. I use it as a building block and it reminds me how good I feel after I drink it. Makes me think- hmmm, do I want to continue feeling good the rest of the day? Since Covid, I’ve lost 15 lbs while many of my friends have gained weight. I give a lot of credit to replacing a meal a day with the shakes, and enjoying a Orgain brownie bar at night now and then (pretty good). I still have poor judgment now and then, but using Orgain is definitely NOT included in that category. That one recommendation alone was worth paying for the nutritionist.

I’m very happy this product is available in a vegan option. I finally have been able to eliminate most dairy from my meal plan. This nutritional shake is convenient and I use it on a daily basis! Looking forward to other flavors with my next order! Thank you so much.

The Chocolate Vegan Organic Shake is a wonderful product. I am allergic to all dairy and egg products. This shake is a great "grab-&-go" meal or snack. It is so delicious that even my grandkids love it. They ask if they can have one of my "special chocolate milks". I know that they are enjoying something that tastes great and is also good for them! Thank you for this great super food. I recently enrolled in your subscription plan and am looking forward to many years of enjoying this product.

This product is a great option if you are looking for a lower calorie nutrition shake as a little boost. I had been looking for a vegan, clean nutrition shake to replace my Kate Farms and this checked all the boxes and was recommended by my nutritionist. It’s at a reasonable price point and delivery is nice and fast. The only complaint I have is I do wish it was a little thicker, I think the thinness of the drink kind of takes away from what it could be.

I'm lactose intolerant so the vegan option was my only choice. The shake tastes great, sweet and a real chocolate flavor. However, my stomach was a wreck after drinking one of these. I checked the ingredients and there was nothing in it that I could identify as the culprit. This messed with me more than dairy does and I couldn't even be in public for 24 hours, at least.

These used to be perfect!!! I had the hardest time finding the perfect protein drink that actually tasted good. That was until I found these! I have been buying these for the longest time now, until my last purchase a few days ago I realized they completely changed the look and the TASTE IS HORRIBLE. One thing I noticed that was different was that they added monk fruit extract. Not sure if this can make that much of a difference, but I swear it the taste is SO different. THIS IS SO DISAPPOINTING!!!!! Ugh so sad this was literally the best protein drink ever and I’d pay anything to have the old version back. PLEASE BRING IT BACK OR OFFER BOTH VERSIONS.!!! For now looking for another brand :(
