My dogs get a hard boiled egg each day as a treat - healthier and much cheaper than many commercial types. Then, I smash up the shells and add it to their food for some added calcium. So, I have been boiling them in large batches. And, invariably, I forget that they are on the stove. This was to be a solution. And, it works very well. It takes very little water, so there is no filling a large pot with water, then waiting for it to boil. The outcomes were always different (my fault). I get busy and the water took so long to boil that it would get off my radar. Sometimes the water would boil out completely. Never again. This product is a quick, simple tool that holds me accountable with a dependable series of beeps when it is done. Plus, clean-up isn't necessary. It will remain on my counter for regular use. This is the best boiled egg cooker. I Liked it so much I bought one for the camper and also got 2 to give as gifts. It comes with a measure cup that marks the water level according to how many eggs you are cooking and the egg pricker is attached to the bottom. Don't have to worry about loosing the instructions or the egg pricker. Cook your eggs and then put them into ice water. Let them cool enough to peel. Works perfect every time. You can also use it to steam vegetables. I steamed fresh broccoli in 5 minutes for broccoli/cheese soup I made for lunch.

I learned that white eggs were good to go at 15 minutes but brown farm eggs should have been cooked closer to 18 minutes. Plus brown eggs were even easier to peel.

I purchased 3 of these this is the greatest way to boil your eggs and such easy clean up I pickle eggs a lot and boil eggs for breakfast it does 12 or less at a time just poke a hole in the end of the flat side of egg and put in just follow directions in the book you will be surprised I purchased one for the house one for my camper and one for a friend just put eggs in and walk away it will chime when done you will not regret this purchase.

I just love this little machine! My family loves egg salad and deviled eggs. So I thought why not try this. I've been doing eggs the old-fashioned way - in a pot on the stove for my entire life. When I saw this machine, I fell in love. When it arrived, I was in love even more! It's streamlines boiling the eggs!. The eggs come out perfect. The only thing that we need to make now is something that peels eggs for you! Lol. Highly recommend nice quality, easy to use and easy to clean up. I know what I'm getting friends for Christmas this year.

Great little egg cooker and it has several options on how to cook eggs. I have only tried the hard boiled eggs and it worked great! I soaked the eggs in a cold water/ice bath and then peeled the eggs. It was very easy to peel them. If you are an egg lover, I would purchase this item!

This is great for hard boiled eggs %26 scrambled and fast ! Poached eggs, stick to inside of container they provide and difficult to remove. Would give it 5 stars, otherwise.

Seemingly versatile product that has the potential to cook various egg dishes for you from soft boiled eggs to omelettes. From the reviews I read, I was expecting a simpler way to hard boil eggs that required less effort and time. Rather than my usual approach involving a pot to boil them in and a bowl to ice-bath cool them in and very simple clean up, I got a pleasantly compact product that has what seemed like 10 small items to hand clean and kept the need for my bowl for ice-bathing the eggs to cool them down. Rather than 12 mins of boil time (after bringing the water to boil), I got 18 mins of steam time. And you have to be there the minute they are done, or overcooked eggs is your result. If you want versatility of egg cooking, this might be the product for you. If you want simplicity and easy clean up, this will just take up more space in your kitchen cabinet.
