I'm glad I got the ccombo I did. I got the memory foam 12 inch green tea mattress and the 18 inch premium smartbase deluxe platform bed/mattress foundation, both queen size. I was sooo hesitant to purchase a mattress online, not being able to feel it first. I did a ton of research, reading reviews and watching videos about various "matress in a box" mattresses. The base: Easy to put together seems sturdy. Amazing amount of storage. The mattress: Feels pretty plush, if you like a firm feel you may want to go with a thinner version. I've been sleeping so much better than on my old squeeky standard mattress. The only trouble I had was gettting the mattress before the base so I stupidly opened mattress (which inflated to it's size within an hour) and it was a pain to get onto the base, but that was my bad. I'm 5'2 so it is a little too high for me, but I wanted that extra storage. It's been a few weeks and I really do love it.

This base is very well made and was easy to assemble. I bought it to replace a very high end traditional box spring ( for my new mattress). I wanted to downsize, have more room under the bed and obviously wanted a quality product that met my high standards. This product is as great as all other reviewers before me stated. I'd recommend this base,( any height btw )to anyone who needs it. I don't know why anyone would buy a traditional box spring when we now have a better option! I have the 18 inch with a 14 inch mattress, it feels and looks like a Princess bed! On a side note, I use a dust ruffle for my bed and will need to get something to hold it in place because it slips around on the base, ( I had to pin it) But, it is fine for now unless and until I'll have to rotate my mattress. The mattress does not slip on the base at all btw. Great product

Rarely do I write reviews but this product deserves one. Where has this smartbase been all of my life?? Not only was it delivered to my door but it was easy (and I mean- EASY) to assemble all by myself! My roommate asked if I needed help but I was already done in less than 10 minutes, if that. The extra storage underneath is a dream and it is handsdown the sturdiest frame I have ever had. Well made and well though out product. Will never buy an ordinary frame again.

Once I received my 18 inch smart base I was a little skeptical . Because it didn't look strong enough to me . But I was surprised by the strength of it . I like how it brings more height to my mattress and plenty of storage underneath . sometimes I find myself just looking underneath to make sure it's ok . Excellent work and it doesn't make any noise . Thank you so much and I am impressed by you workmanship and your 5 yr warranty . You definitely have manufactured a excellent product . Keep up the good work .

This is my second order from Zinus (one queen and king). I'm always satisfied with my purchase from them. The frames are solid, strong, and zero noise from them. I've owned ones from Purple and Spa Sensations and both were squeaky and uneven foundations. I will only purchase my frames from Zinus. Thank you for the cute cards too!

The box arrived and the contents were spilling out and it was super awkward to carry. To assemble it was SUPER EASY and QUICK! We love the height and the storage under is essential, great quality and absolutely solid! One complaint is that the frame is a bit larger than our king mattress and it's uncomfortable when you hang your legs over the bed and hit frame or you go to jump in bed and your knees meet frame. We are going to see about adding some padding because our mattress also slides a bit but over all we think it's awesome and we will be ordering one for our guest room!

This frame is awesome. No more box spring noises!!! Yay. I adore this frame, we have one for the twin in the spare room and for our queen. Full size totes fit under it, SO handy!!! I love it.

Love this mattress,it’s awesome,I have major back issues and this bed is Great, I have so much trouble getting out of bed because it’s so comfortable I don’t want to get up. Would highly recommend this mattress
