This replaced typical bed frame and box spring. I was skeptical if just my mattress atop this frame would be comfortable. It is! It provides better support than the aforementioned setup of frame/box spring. As others have stated, it truly is easy to set up and silent. I appreciate this particular frame for its height which accommodates under the bed storage better than other frames. I also bought this for the 1-inch side frame revision. Painful bumps into the side of my former frame prompted me to purchase this frame over similar ones I looked at. This was a wise purchase—I’m glad I made it!

We got this 2 months ago. We thought that we needed a whole new bedroom set mattress and all. We decided to try this first if it did not work then we would get a whole new set. So far this has worked out perfectly no need for a new mattress. Very comfortable sleep.

My daughter moved into the city and into a very quaint house. Unfortunately, her queen box spring was too large to pass through either the staircase or window - I immediately thought about this Zinus frame. Okay so this is the most perfect bed base I've literally ever dealt with. I cannot believe this is not the standardized requirement for all bed bases. I have some weird hangups about box springs, so I knew I was in the market for a platform-style bed. I didn't want to deal with something super huge like an all-wood construction, and slatted wood stuff from ikea felt like it'd be too flimsy. I'm not planning on living in my apartment for the rest of my life, and I wanted something I could pack up and take with me. Enter the Casey Metal Frame. First, setting it up took maybe 15 minutes, tops, and I did it by myself. Second, the height is incredible. The ability to store things under my bed is *amazing.* I live in a studio loft and storage is at a premium, so the extra space under the bed is incredible. Last and most importantly -- this thing is solid as all getout. It doesn't creak, it doesn't squeak, it doesn't wiggle. It feels as sturdy as laying the mattress on the floor itself. I absolutely love the heck out of this bed base, and I feel like it gets a lot of airflow which I hope will help extend the life of my mattress. As a bonus, my roomba has zero problems cleaning under it as well. So yeah. I love it. It's solid and I have no complaints.

This is the 2nd one of these frames purchased. It’s very easy to assemble. It’s light weight and easier to move than any regular box spring or bed frame. i use a memory foam mattress and the entire set up is very comfortable. You can even attach a headboard. I’ll never buy a regular bed/mattress/box springs again. It’s like having a portable queen size bed. The only other feature they could add would be wheels to make it any better

The frame itself is excellent you don’t need a boxspring which is great because this is my first king size bed and I didn’t have a boxspring with it. The only bad part is some of the corner pieces didn’t come in my package all the screws to put it on are there but the actual pieces are not. I am going to contact the company and hopefully they will send me what I am missing.

This was a great item. Very sturdy and very easy to assemble. We really needed a California King but the king size still worked. it sticks out a little on each side but if you have a comforter you cannot tell. A lot of great storage space underneath.

Bought this a couple months ago to replace my old box spring and it had been a game changer! It's quiet, very sturdy & easy to put together. It fits within my existing bed frame and is just an inch or so higher but it's barely noticeable. Definitely better support for my hybrid mattress than my old box spring - which also means less back pain for me!

This has been one of the best purchases I have made in a while. I was a little hesitant about the high profile, but I needed storage underneath. It is high but not too high for me to get in and out of bed and sturdy. I can store in plastic totes and they fit under my bed! Very happy with my purchase!

Great bed. Easy to put up and take down. Light in pounds and very sturdy. Easy to move around in the house or if you're moving house. We got 2 twins because they equal a king when put together. SO much easier than moving a heavy frame. The mattress can slide off (we bought foam mattresses on line because they aren't heavy like regular mattresses) so we just put the fitted cover over the edge of the frame on the outside and no more slipping.
