I love my 18'' smart base. I live in a studio in NYC and this base its perfect because I have plenty of space underneath for storage. its so simple to put together and is well built. I have an 10'' Inspiration Full size mattress by Signature Sleep. Best deal I have ever got from both company. Thank you both.

The quality of this frame is amazing and it doesn't make any noise ( we put it to the test lol ). The storage capacity under it is just wow. I won't buy anything else but these from now on. I'm going to be replacing the rest of the beds in the house with these! If you're a bigger person don't worry about the weight limit. It holds up to 2400 lbs.

I purchased the 'Full' size frame and it is comprised of two sections, each section with 6 legs for a total of 12 legs over whole unit. I'm almost 300 pounds, so having weight spread over 12 legs its super solid. With traditional frames, the 4 feet left middle unsupported and sags overtime, but with 12 feet, I don't think that will be a problem. All of the bolts use wing nuts, and are really no tools needed to assemble. However, I did use pliers to tighten wing nuts. I read reviews where if nuts aren't really tight, it can cause squeaks. Out of the box, it basically unfold each section and each corner has a bracket to see leg from moving or folding in unexpectedly, this has a wing nut. The two section are held together by two bolts. It could easily fold, for storage or moving, just remove two bolts and loosed wing nuts on corner brackets My only problem I have found: 1.) The mattress slides easily on frame, no lip to keep mattress centered on frame, as with traditional bed frames with rails. so I may add a non-slip rug liner under mattress and trim to fit mattress size. 2.) I have been having a hard time finding a 18 inch bed skirt. What I love: 1.) Can store full size storage bins under bed. 2.) Solid frame, no squeaks. (Tighten those wing nuts) 3.) Feet are recessed a few inches, so when walking around bed barefoot, its toe friendly, So far. Overall I give it a 9.9 out of 10.

The 18” premium frame is fantastic. It's solid, silent, and super easy to set up. The extra room underneath provides tons of storage space. However, I've found that as there is nothing like a lip, or edge around the perimeter of the frame, my mattress slides around, and I'm having to push my mattress back into place every day. Otherwise, this was a fantastic purchase.

I'm glad I got the ccombo I did. I got the memory foam 12 inch green tea mattress and the 18 inch premium smartbase deluxe platform bed/mattress foundation, both queen size. I was sooo hesitant to purchase a mattress online, not being able to feel it first. I did a ton of research, reading reviews and watching videos about various "matress in a box" mattresses. The base: Easy to put together seems sturdy. Amazing amount of storage. The mattress: Feels pretty plush, if you like a firm feel you may want to go with a thinner version. I've been sleeping so much better than on my old squeeky standard mattress. The only trouble I had was gettting the mattress before the base so I stupidly opened mattress (which inflated to it's size within an hour) and it was a pain to get onto the base, but that was my bad. I'm 5'2 so it is a little too high for me, but I wanted that extra storage. It's been a few weeks and I really do love it.

I purchased the 18 inch premium smartbase deluxe platform mattress foundation. I have been sleeping on it for about a week now and absolutely love it. It is solid and makes no noise. My storage tubs fit nicely under my bed and they are 15 inches tall. Great value!

This base is very well made and was easy to assemble. I bought it to replace a very high end traditional box spring ( for my new mattress). I wanted to downsize, have more room under the bed and obviously wanted a quality product that met my high standards. This product is as great as all other reviewers before me stated. I'd recommend this base,( any height btw )to anyone who needs it. I don't know why anyone would buy a traditional box spring when we now have a better option! I have the 18 inch with a 14 inch mattress, it feels and looks like a Princess bed! On a side note, I use a dust ruffle for my bed and will need to get something to hold it in place because it slips around on the base, ( I had to pin it) But, it is fine for now unless and until I'll have to rotate my mattress. The mattress does not slip on the base at all btw. Great product

I must say I was amazed at the total comfort for the price. When I first received my mattress I hadn't purchased the frame. I felt that I needed to add the right frame for the mattress, so I purchased the 18” SmartBase frame, so glad I did. The bed sits high off the floor which leaves plenty of storage underneath. The bed feels more supportive with this frame. I love the mattress, I thought it felt to soft but then you get into bed and it's perfect, cradling you in pure bliss.

I cant believe I went this long without one of these frames! How can something so sturdy be so lightweight? I am 200+ lbs, not one squeak when I turn over. The amount of room underneath for storage is ridiculous!! Its like getting 2 closets for free. The setup was so easy, no tools required. I am beyond pleased!! Thank you Zinus!!

I bought this for my new memory foam night therapy mattress - after a few nights the mattress settled and the bars in the middle caused the mattress to bow so if you laid in the middle of the bed you would actually feel like you could roll to the outside. At first I thought something was wrong with the mattress and went shopping for a new mattress even though I had just purchased one. When I explained the situation with my memory foam bed, the salesman told me I could just put plywood on the base and put the mattress down and it would level out. To my amazement $20.00 worth of plywood saved me purchasing a new bed! I don't feel you should have to go to this extreme for your mattress to lay level so for that reason I rated this bed frame a 1.
