[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not a ten. Tolerable, but not enjoyable. Very bland taste, which I guess could be expected in “original” flavor. It doesn’t taste earthy or anything, just doesn’t have much flavor. I do 8oz water and had to squeeze some orange juice into it to make the taste better. Might try again with less water. I think it would be fine mixed into something or in a smoothie but I won’t drink it plain much. I have the chocolate flavor as well and it’s much better. Neither are as smooth as my other brands (EFM & Bloom) but they aren’t chalky either. Guess it really just depends what you’re looking for and planning to use it for!

With that being said I don’t always get the nutrients I need so drinking AmazingGrass Greens Blend The Original is a good way to add some of what I’m missing. I add one scoop of the green blend to my water and mix it with a drink frother to avoid clumps. The taste is good, it’s actually not bitter at all. I do have burps with an aftertaste after, but I don’t mind it.

It’s simple to make easy to prep ahead and take with you. It is a bit thick in my opinion so don’t use the recommended measurements. I like mine a little more like a juice than a smoothie. So I use less than a whole scoop with my water when I mix it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This powder is actually pretty good. I've tried a lot of greens lately and I'd say this was about mid-tier from the others I've tested. There is no flavor, just straight up greens which make it great to add into your morning smoothies without disrupting the taste. Each scoop is packed full of vitamins and minerals, which is ideal for optimal health. On top of it all, you can drink it down with no issue, even when it's unflavored like it is; it goes down smooth. The only negatives I would say is that you have to make sure you mix it well because the powder takes a while to dissolve and the jar came 2/3rds empty. (Why are green powders always halfway gone to begin with? Sheesh!) Other than that, it's a decent green powder that works as it's supposed to.

This powder does exactly what I was looking for - it adds the vitamins from green vegetables but doesn’t alter the taste of our sweet fruity smoothies in a negative way. The difference in taste is minimal enough that my child doesn’t notice when I use the powder. A banana, scoop of vanilla protein powder, a pack of frozen açaí and berries, a scoop of this green powder topped with some fresh fruit juice and you get a wonderful healthy slushy drink. This is a wonderful product that I will be using again and again.

The health benefits are great so I love adding this to my morning matcha, smoothies, or just mixing with hot water and honey. The taste isn't amazing, but not bad either, more like "medicine" that with some other mix-ins, is tasty enough to have every day. I'm thinking of trying the berry one as well, I think the savoriness of the Greens blend is why I don't love the flavor as much as I would a sweet one.
