Poorly designed and bad quality control

Out of the box, there are a few major issues with this thing. The plug requires an extension cord. If they added 6 inches of of retractable or folded cord, it would immediately improve. Second, the build quality is terrible. The buttons shift around and feel like they are cheap plastic floating around behind a crappy frame, the stickers (not that they matter) are crooked and peeling out of the box with the edges lifted. Though stickers are irrelevant, it is just a sign that 0 care went into making this thing. The last and worst up to this point (haven't used it to jump anything) is that the power does nothing to disable the buttons so if you keep it in your trunk and something hits a button, the USB turns on and drains the battery. There needs to be a kill switch that prevents this in order to avoid dead batteries. Overall, it's disappointing that Sam's club would carry this junk when there are much better versions out there and it is disappointing that Stanley would put out such a poorly designed product.

Screw on connection

I've only used it once. It works well. I do not like the connection to the tire valve. This one, you have to screw onto the valve, and air leaks out as you attach it, and also when removing it. I have another one, that just clips on, and does not screw on. I have not used the battery jumping cables yet.

So many uses

When you look at a product like this you may think it would be nice to have, but you’ll probably only use it if your battery ever dies, and hopefully that is rare. But with this, not only can you jump your battery, but you can charge your phone, pump up car or bicycle tires, have an emergency flashlight, check your alternator. This is a very useful product that you will use regularly and is there in case of emergency. Make sure to keep it charged.

Disappointed

Very disappointed. I bought this because it was made by Stanley. I used it one time. I inflated a tire to 50 pounds PSI after it got to 50 pounds it shut off like it supposed to but then it won’t start again. I am going to return it as soon as possible. It’s totally dead. None of the functions work. I put it on to charge over night but it is still dead. I would not recommend this item.

Also charges your car battery and checks out your

I just happen to be cruising to the auto area of Sam’s Club. It’s not in the tire area it’s in the back on the left wall. I bought one for myself for my daughter and for my son. My son was aesthetic and my daughter not so much. We took a camping charged on USB devices filled tires on our bicycles. Also charges your car battery and checks out your alternator. Oh for the price of a air pump to my buy online.

Decent jump starter

Marked down to four because the last one I bought crapped out at 1 1/2 years. It worked great and did the job but think I liked the previous form factors better. Have one of the earlier vertical form that still works great, have the one that looks like battery and it is great. The first ne like this started going nuts and the work light would come on and random beeping. Have not received an answer from Stanley's offshore manufacturer. Went ahead and bought this one because it was on sale. Was tempted to buy the Harbor Freight one probably made in same Chinese factory.

All in one Auto Assistance

I haven't had much of a chance to use it yet but, I am genuinely impressed with all the functions of this machine. however, it is easy enough to charge up and use. It has so many functions that can help with any need to charge a battery, it has USB ports, light, charger, compressor and more!

Never fails or leaves you stranded

I just bought this charger when I saw an older lady standing in the rain next her car which had a dead battery. I told it’s fresh out of the box it may need a charge. To my surprise it was charged and I am 63 yo it’s easy to operate works right out of the box. Great product!

Great peace of mind

This is the 3rd one of these that I've bought to go in different vehicles. I've used them for starting cars with dead batteries and for inflating low tires out on the road. The air compressor isn't very fast but it works well enough and beats having to try and find one of those overpriced gas station vending inflation machines. This unit also can test the car's alternator so I knew if the problem was with the battery or alternator.

Great to have in your trunk!

I bought this because my son has used his to great advantage to rescue others and himself, both with the jump start for others back in the woods and a tire for him. Mine came fully charged and I have not needed it yet, but with all the time I spend on isolated roads, it is nice to know it is in my vehicle. One help my son did that showed the fellow's alternator was bad was especially helpful. We gave him a 30 mile ride to help. I recommend without reservation. The list says 1200 peak amp, the unit says 1000, but my son's is 1000 and works great.
