Not Durable

These have sealed lead acid batteries, are unreliable in the winter months, and last less than a year. I used mine well for summer camping months until dampness broker my first one. The second one lasted 8 months before no longer retaining a charge. The inflator does not fill one truck tire from 24psi to 36 psi without over heating and slowing down its ability tremendously. I personally am looking to invest in separate battery/charging jumpers and an inflator so when one goes, replacement is less waste and easier on the wallet. There is no spec about the amp hours this holds.

Bad battery has very low output Don't buy

I charged as per instruction. IT only has only 200 amp it is new right out of the box. Will not jump a car. It is only good for charging a cell phone. Customer service would not help. I was told o ship it to Florida and they will fix it in 2 month's. Shipping would cost almost what I paid for it. [So I HAVE A BIG PHONE CHARGER] No more Stanley for me

First one died after 13 months on the dot

Do not buy this without buying the extended warranty through SAMSCLUB! First one died in 13 months. It starting saying full-charge, then when I tried to use the airpump it died and said the battery was discharged. Plugged it in, said it was charged full in 5 minutes. Then tried it again, DEAD again. I took it apart, removed the big battery and the battery was 13V across the terminals with a voltmeter. After putting a decent load on the battery, it still showed 12.9v indicating the battery was strong and not defective. The charge circuit, or something failed in this unit. I was unable to return it as it passed the 1 year mark. I bought a new one as I was on the road and had no choice and I need air. At Samsclub, I purchased the 9 dollar extended warranty and got another one. I will reccomend this jump/airbox but only if you can buy the extended warranty at the time of the sale at samsclub.

Verified Purchase

No power cord.

Returned never used because it does not come with a power cord to charge it up. The unit requires an extension cord to attach to the unit. The unit has the two prong end on the unit which I thought would pull out but it does not. I don't want to have to look for a cord every time it needs charging.

Worked fine when it worked

Do not Buy! Stopped working after 3 uses. I last used it to start a pickup that had a battery drain from a interior light that was left on. Started the truck just fine, and by the time I came back around to unhook the unit it was beeping and smoking. The unit was fried internally, and stopped working. The unit was still under the 1 year warranty, but please note: "To claim the warranty you half to ship it back to manufacturer at your cost". My cost for shipping was going to be $32.00. Terrible policy if you ask me. I will be using this shipping cost to go toward another better rated unit, probably a smaller lighter weight lithium battery model.

Air pump dies after several uses.

Over the years I've had 3 or 4 of these and each time the air pump died. Sometimes within a few months, sometimes right after the warranty expired. If you want a jumper box it was great but if you need the air pump I wouldn't recommend this unit. It always sounded like a stripped gear inside. Perhaps they used plastic parts that easily broke.

Not as good as I hoped

I had it for less than a year I got to use it one time to pump up four tires. And then I was able to use it to jump start somebody's car one time. And then it just kept beeping and beeping and beeping until the battery ran out and it would not take another charge. So I may have gotten a dud. So buyer beware, good luck.

I love this, it's very handy and easy to use and carry. I wish I could exchange it because I have one issue. I'm not sure I can. I've had it for a few months and the buttons have broken, I can't adjust them. That's my only complaint. I definitely recommend this for everyone!!!!

Works great! Don't forget to charge the unit.

I'm seeing reviews from persons who think this product failed on them. But there are things to consider here. It is a battery operated device, used for jumping vehicles and airing tires. It is a battery operated device that will lose its charge when sitting in a car, without use, for months. Especially in hot and cold environments. So, every 3 months, take the unit out of your car and charge it to capacity. Doing this will ensure you have a fully charged unit, ready to go. I have had 3 similar units and only one had failed to jump my car...but it was also 4 years old. Take the recurring charging requirements into consideration when you purchase this.

WARNING...Read reviews before purchasing

I only wish I had read the reviews for this product before I drove a 120 mile round trip to buy one (because my local Sam’s was out of stack). I charged it up all night as instructed, but was still flashing charging the next morning. I then took it outside to put air in my vehicle tires. After screwing the hose to the valve stem, I set the pressure to 35 and started the compressor. It started, but sounded odd, so I stopped it and removed it and put it back on and tried it again and it still made a sound like it was laboring very hard to pump any air at all. It was only about 3 PSI low, so I figured it would take only a few seconds to fill and shut off....5 minutes later, it was still running, so I turned it off. I checked the pressure in the tire and it had not added any air at all. Tried it on a 2nd tire and the same thing happened. This thing is a complete piece of junk. Took it back for a full refund. After seeing the negative reviews, I wish I had read them before I wasted my time on this item. This thing doesn’t even rate a single star.
