I bought this jump starter about one year ago. First, there are not amps to jumpstart a car battery. Failed to jump my car battery. Second, the main reason I would not recommend this jump starter. The one I ordered previously had a 12 volt plug in connection. In my opinion every combination jump starter should have a 12 volt plugin

Works fine out of the box. Used a handful of times mainly the air compressor. Noticed it needed a charge , I found it would not charge and nothing worked. Only owned for a little over a year. Bought it to use in moments when I needed a jump. Do not rely on this product to be there for you when you need it. Very disappointed in Stanley found this is a common thing look at all the one star reviews they all read the same.

I can personally vouch for the FATMAX's ability to jump large vehicles (I drive a Chrysler Town and Country) and it's ability to inflate tires quickly. I used to have to pay a few bucks at the gas station to fill up the tires but this is just so convenient and quiet. Jumping the car is so easy too. With this in my car I really have been able to relax about my recent battery issues because I know I can always get a jump!

This thing comes with no cord for AC. Only two male prongs to plug an extension cord female end into it mounted to unit body. I hooked it to a small air tank to see how high it would actually pump pressure. It was flat out stalled at 62 pounds, with no further increase after several minutes. I don't want to give the other one I bought as a gift without a cord. Nice looking with a good shape would be the good things I would say about it.

I bought this thing couple years ago only used it couple times, always kept it charged up, I thought but it never would charge to full compacity the charging indicator would always blink like it was still charging after two days of trying to charge it. I send It to the recycle dump. The Stanley fatmax has never worked like it should would NOT jump off A dead battery in A vehicle. It's not worth having that's why it in the recycle dump.

Unit looked great in the box but I was EXTREMELY disappointed when I actually tried to use it. Unit beeped the whole time it was charging (loud and very irritating) for the recommended 40 hours. THEN AFTER I USED IT THE FIRST TIME IT WOULD NOT SHUT OFF OR QUIT BEEPING! Looked on the internet for answers and found numerous people with same issue and no solution. Called the service hotline on the unit (took 5 tries because I was on hold so long I had to hang up) only to have the technician say, "yep, there's no way to fix it so you need to take it back". I advised her of all the similar on-line complaints and she said "there are some known issues with it beeping and not shutting off". I got my money back instead of exchanging it because of all the other people having similar complaints. Also, there is no cord on the unit and the plug is in a very bad location (bottom corner)--the plug cap will also not stay on the prongs after the first use so it just flops around.

Sooo I really liked this device and what all it touts that it does. I trust the name brand, so why not and we bought #1 in Nov 2021. Excited to get it. Received device- Device was DOA- had to send it back. Not so exciting. Received #2. Its now May 2022, the Device stays charged and ready to go. However, after a great day on the water, get back to landing, trailer tire low-low-low- Ahh NO Problem! Bust out handy device- Device fires on, sounds good and yet, here we sit!! The Compressor left us stranded at the boat landing. Runs great, turns right on, lights right up, but alas, It NO Longer Pumps Air!!!!! REALLY? This is irritating and Kinda defeates the purpose of emergency back up and or being prepared!! Luckily??? this device has a year warranty, AND SAMS HAS ALWAYS BEEN GOOD TO ME, BUT IM AFRAID #3 ISNT GOING TO BE ANY DIFFERENT FOLKS! Ye Be Warned... Don't get stranded at the Boat Landing, might better go with a diffrent Device!

Too heavy, too cumbersome, designed with too many circuit parts and places for failure. Would not recommend to anyone. You have to maintained it charged every other month, cant leave in warm/hot places (eg. garage), can leave in cold places (eg. garage). Check YouTube to see the problems people have had and how they fix them, that will convince you not to buy.

Had this for over a year. Compressor is a great have in the garage. The air pressure measurement always matches what the vehicle tire sensors state. Holds charge a good while. Fortunately only had to use it once or twice for the charge and jump, but worked well.

I purchased this hoping for the best. Following all the instructions with charging, tried to use it to fill up my tires and it was dead. When I would plug it in, the LED screen would work, but then stop as soon as unpluged. I returned and would not recommend. My Craftsman that I purchased 10 years ago is still working great.
