Yes, but it's StarKist at the right price.

i prefer Bumble Bee or the store brand because they give you nice chunks of tuna that are easy to drain. Starkist almost always is just minced-up cat food. It tastes good but the minced fish is hard to drain from the can and traps a lot of water. You literally have to drain in a collander or with a sifting cloth to make a decent tuna salad sandwich.

I though I would give this one more try as I have been buying this for years but recently the taste has changed. And if you have it in the fridge for 2 days it stinks, smell uber fishy. My cats won't even eat it. Also a lot of negative reviews online with same complaints. Also discovered it has a fair amount of mercury in it because of the tuna they now use.

So glad I was asked to review this! I normally would never complain but this item was ridiculous. When I order canned goods I actually expect a few dents but these were unusable. Half the cans in one package were out of the plastic sleeve and the cans were so bent and crinkled I couldn’t have even gotten a can opener to open them! There is no way these destroyed cans happened in shipping. Very, very disappointed.☹️

I have ordered this item for shipping frequently & it's usually 5 star. BUT, this is the first time I have been disappointed! I received these a week ago, but yesterday I took the wrapping off only to find that 4 of the cans were crumpled on the bottom & air had gotten in the cans. I had to throw out 4 of the cans because they had bubbled tops. They were well packed in an undamaged box, so they must have been damaged before shipping! NOT HAPPY!

This used to be one of the best. NOW they should label it minced scrap tuna because that's exactly what it is. I buy a LOT of tuna and the past year or so the quality is awful, not hardly ANY light "chunk tuna" in any of it. Starkist should be ashamed of this.

I recently went to the store and purchased a decent amount of groceries and other stuff. When I got home I realized I had forgotten the tuna. I ordered the tuna, like I had done before, and added a couple other things too. When the box came the tuna cans were all dented, unwrapped from each other, and fell out of the box onto my floor from the bottom of the box. I was sooo upset!!! I tried to talk to people but apparently certain chats are only for certain reasons. They don't make returns or replacements easy for you!

More than half of these cans were severely dented to the degree an electric opener would not open them. When finally opened the can is mostly water, very little tuna product (which could be why they were all dented--they were not filled properly). The few cans we ate (the dented ones we managed to open went to the kitties) tasted like any other water packed tuna, but some of the meat was dark and looked possibly bloody. Won't be buying StarKist brand again...

Our princess cat refuses all canned cat food. She will only eat tuna in water meant for human consumption. She enjoys StarKist and is the only member of our household who eats it since if we dare to eat HER food she lets it be known she is greatly displeased. So our cat gives StarKist tuna packed in water four paws up.

I give this a 5⭐ for my cats, they enjoy it. For me however, salty, extremely watery and the fishness is so strong, I can only feed it to my cats. Product isnt for me, product shrinking, its really not great for human consumption. The bones i pick out of each can, i may as well went and caught it myself. This product, be cautious, ive found bones in every can so far.
