It seems economical to purchase tuna in this size if it is to be timely consumed. However, put thought into how to open this huge can. I haven't figured it out so mine is a paperweight waiting for manual can opener.

You can drain and freeze tuna for up to 3 months, so if you don't want to use the whole can at once, you don't have to. Less waste, buy the big can and divy it up into usable amounts.

This tuna is a great deal for the price and the tuna is much better than what's in the smaller cans. The chunks of meat are big, firm, and meatty. I have a hungry husband and teenage boys, so when we make grilled tuna sandwhiches, we used to open three cans at once. Now I just open one can and freeze the extra. Then next time, I just pull it out of the freezer, microwave for a bit and it's good to go.

badly handled.....cans were very bent and deformed..... will be difficult to open
