I bought the gift cards at my local Sam's Club to use a stocking stuffers. The day after Christmas my family went to the movies only to find the cards were never activated. I went to Sam's told the young woman at the customer service desk what happend and was told they do not return openned gift cards. I said fine I just want the cards activated. I was then told they always activate the cards at purchase. How am I to know if the card is active if I don't open the package and try to use the card. Checked the AMC website and the card number and pin are not found. Paid $80 for $90 worth of cards that can't be used.
