Good flavor, no jitters

I admit I am a coffee snob, born and bred in the land of Starbucks, but their beans are not what they used to be. I usually buy San Francisco Bay Coffee Company's coffees, which Sam's has yet to add to their shelves. I read an online review for Caribou coffee and took a chance. I cannot believe how positively awful this coffee is. When you grind it, there is so much chaff that flakes off the beans and that put me off right away. I have a burr grinder and have been grinding whole beans for over thirty years. I have never seen that with any other brand of coffee bean. The flavor is best described as absolutely weird. It just plain doesn't taste like coffee. I threw this entire bag out.
