Our Sams Club started carrying this earlier in 2018 and these are NOT the quality of Planter's Whole Cashew product. The nuts do not have much flavor and too much salt. They are very dry... like over processed. Additionally - the container has more than an inch of open space BELOW the neck and my scale does not correspond to the net weight. The price has steadily increased from $12 to $16.98... I can purchase a larger can of Planter's - at our local grocery store for $13.50. Not a hard choice to make! Sams Club your Member's Mark products used to be a great value and great quality. In the last year or so - the only thing I have seen is cheap, cheap, cheap and not the price- that has increased unrealistically - but unfortunately - the quality. Too bad - you are working yourself out of the markets for these products. Your buyers are doing a poor job of selecting quality.

These cashews were good and tasty. I accidentally bought them, however , as in the past there were unsalted cashews with a green label which I mistook here for unsalted ones. It turns out Sam's is no longer carrying the unsalted ones. Too bad, as some of us senior members have to watch our intake of salt.

Surprised me when I saw peanut oil in the ingredients and wasn't expecting that. Other family members will enjoy them. I ordered and used curbside pick up. Sam's needs to provide photo of ingredients for all their nuts. My container as of today for Whole Cashews with Sea Salt. INGREDIENTS: Cashews, Sea Salt, Peanut Oil. May Contain Peanut, Almond, Brazil Nut, Hazelnut (Filbert) Macadamia Nut, Pecan, Pine Nut, Pistachio, Walnut. Contains Product From: India, South Africa, Vietnam.

These are good and reasonably priced, but they seem to have less salt on them than they did only a year or so ago. Yes, I'm well aware that many people are concerned about salt in their diet, but this is the "salted" version, and those wanting less salt can always buy the "lightly salted" or "unsalted" cashews. Those of us who prefer more, however, can't buy a "fully salted" version, which is what this used to be. So yes, these are still a good product and value, but the salt content seems to be suffering from a bit of "shrinkflation" even though salt is cheap.

I am writing this review to address the continued decline in the quality of Sam's Member's Mark Whole Cashews. Although still a value, they used to be the BEST around but their size and quality has greatly diminished! The whole cashews are smaller, shriveled and less flavorful than they were a few years ago. I've been quite dissatisfied with them lately so I purchase them more often from a competitor and less often from Sam's. I hope to see some future improvement in the quality of their cashews as I continue to be a loyal Sam's Club member!!

Lately the cashews have been lower quality. I have been tossing too many for this price point, burnt and died out. I am not sure why. The price recently went up by $2 so I am wondering if this will increase the quality. Hopefully the price will go back down.
