The product comes combined with a regimen, when followed attentively, that really improves your chances of making it work to its best potential. The lozenge in itself is not as "nicotine-y" as I initially suspected, had a smooth texture and dissolved in a reasonable amount of time. The effect of the nicotine may vary depending on when you take the lozenge (these are for those who tend to smoke first thing in the morning), effectively increasing the time between cravings. It'll take some willpower & support as well but when combined with these lozenges, I like for them to be as helpful for you. Especially since my fiancé drowned Memorial Day weekend of 2022, I have def upped my cigarettes. I am ready to quit and lessen the amount I am smoking and spending a week just to buy. I opted for the 4 mg because I was a little nervous about using them. It's been 85 days and I have not had a single cigarette since the first day I began using these lozenges! No one is more surprised than I am! The first two weeks I was not struggling, but just restless, feeling something was missing. I did not get cravings, per se, but rather just an automatic reaction to things of reaching for a cigarette, and realizing I was not going to have one. Not a terrible craving, but more of a disappointment at the fact I was not going to have one. I filled my time with work, exercising, playing games on my phone, and cleaning my house till it was spotless. By the third week, the restless feeling had vanished and by the fourth week I was no longer automatically reaching for a cigarette. After the first month, I had absolutely no desire for a cigarette. On the rare occasion that I do think of it, I just get up and do something and the feeling is gone. And I'm talking rare, like maybe once every few weeks. And even then it's not a strong desire for a cigarette, it's just a feeling that something is missing. These lozenges definitely were the push I needed to quit and as I said, I only used the 4mg.
