Detergent itself is not thick, does not have a cute scent or even a "clean" scent, but does clean the way detergent is supposed to clean. For the price it does exactly what it's supposed to do.

I'm happily surprised with the longevity of the clean fresh scent. Even used bedding has the same clean smell for at least a week. I love that the smell is very neutral and simply clean. Having four children can bring quite the dirty clothes through the door after a busy fun day. This Member's Mark Active Clean Liquid Laundry Detergent is a wonderfully valued laundry solution that is effective in removing even ground in mud stains. We had a mud run just after receiving this and with proper pre treatment and washing afterwards the evidence was almost nonexistent! There are about 100 medium sized loads worth of laundry detergent provided which is wonderful for a big family or even one person who wants to save money and shopping trips. The detergent is not sealed underneath the caps which may pose potential problems with leakage especially in cases of ordering online. Member's Mark will refund or replace any item damaged however and mine arrived just fine and properly handled. I'm incredibly pleased and definitely recommend this laundry detergent as we have already purchased another at our last trip to Sam's club.

Member's Mark Active Clean Liquid Laundry Detergent has changed my mind. It provides an effective cleaning agent with a pleasant scent. There was no obvious, discernible difference in the level of cleaning between Member's Mark and the national name brand I normally purchase.

I love how my clothes, towels and sheets come out smelling so fresh. If I have a stain, I rub some of the detergent on the stain and it has taken the stain out. I highly recommend using this liquid detergent!
