I just opened it the other day and was so excited to discover it has a genuine cutting strip! I have had my last roll of film since 2007 and have been fighting with the "newer, safer" slide cutter for that time. The original metal strips are s-o-o-o much easier to use. Yes, there is a slight risk of getting cut, but I will take it! The only negative comment I have is the lack of clear instructions on the exterior of the box re: preparing the box itself for use. I ended up taping the tear strip in place, which may or may not be the way it was intended. I just set up my box yesterday and haven't actually used the film, but I don't anticipate any issues with it.

1st thing is the Super Strong Quality of this clear food wrap! It's WIDE enough for your very large containers & any size in-between. It can be used to store food for freezing or to refrigerate. It's also great for catering purposes. The PRICE for the amount you get & the quality can't be beat anywhere!!

I like that it’s such a large amount. Great value for the money. I don’t like that it doesn’t tear easily with the little cutter teeth. And I really don’t like that it gets stuck on the side often when pulling it out, tearing a loooong thin piece on the edge. If you don’t spot it soon after it happens, it’s a headache to get undone and get back to the full width of the wrap.

I love it, because it lasts forever. I always used the same.
