These bags are hard to push trash into as they are sealed together on the inside in multiple places. You cannot shove any kind of trash or yard debris into them as the sealed bag blocks any kind of entry. You cannot even shake the sealed liner apart as with most trash bags. Complete inconvenience! These bags are just too thin to really serve any purpose. I suppose a pile of dry leaves would be safe...just don't force them or the bag will split. I used to purchase the Glad Trash Bags but Sams no longer stocks them. The Glad bags are the best!! They are a good buy, but not worth the trouble.

I always check the thickness of the trash bags that I purchase. Member's Mark is 1.1 mil and the big name brand is actually thinner. I tested several name brands against this brand and Members Mark did a much better job in holding together when I put heavy items in it. The price is much better, too.

I cannot open the bags without turning them inside out and "stripping" then apart as if peeling a sheet off the side. Apparently the powder used to allow separation was omitted. I have always had good luck with them otherwise, strong, and very few strings actually tear. Until this is resolved I won't buy again. I also tried to contact customer service, what a joke.

These 33 gallon trash bags used to be awesome but now they make them approx. 1" smaller at the opening and they do NOT fit on a plastic 33 gallon trash can without a TON of effort and tearing of the bag! BEWARE.....stick with the Hefty until Sam's hopefully fixes this issue!!

They are so much thinner than the last bags that Sam's was selling. Don't put too much in them for sure. They're ok if you don't put anything too heavy in them. I'll be looking for a stronger bag for sure. These are off of my list. I'd rather pay more for a better bag. I use my bags for many things other than trash.

This replaced the normal non stretch bags that we have used for years. We could count on one hand the number of times that those bags got tears. With these pieces of garbage we have gotten 3 hose in ONE bag and numerous in all the bags used! Thanks alot Sam's. Now we have to go elsewhere to buy them. One more reason we are considering cancelling our membership, and we have been members for almost 30 years.

These bags have a high failure rate on the drawstring by breaking at their attachrent point in the bag. I;ve also noticed that these bags are more susceptible to puncturing as compared to their brand name version.. . .which Sam's no longer provides as a choice. I have since gone elsewhere for this item.

The bottom has split open the entire length of the bag, emptying the contents. This has happened twice now in the last few months. The first time I chalked it up to a fluke or maybe I had something sharp in the trash that had cut the bag. Today it occurred again and I'm sure that there was nothing sharp that could have damaged the bag. The center line at the bottom of the bag is super thin and it just splits along the entire length of the bottom when lifting it from the trash can.

I use these bags on a daily basis in my bakery. Light or heavy bag, I have never had a problem with them ripping. If I already know it's a heavy bag we just skip trying to pull it up by the drawstrings and grab the top of the bag. Never ripped on us that way either :)

Well this used to be a great product. On my recent order I find that every other bag is stuck together so it can't be opened. I tried to go online and contact the store about it but there isn't any easy way to just contact them without jumping through a bunch of annoying hoops. Sorry I JUST RENEWED MY BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP.
