Good quality tomato sauce. Purchased online because it was out of stock in the store. I decided to take advantage of the free shipping for plus members. Package came properly sealed with an empty torn up box at the top of the package and the correct amount of dented and crushed cans in the bottom. Definitely a buy in store item.

Out of twelve cans, eight were banged up with deep dents - the kind of damage I will not purchase in store. The box was in pretty good shape, so I have to believe the cans were packaged in that condition, not damaged in transit. None of the dings were deep enough to cause the cans to leak, but nonetheless, not a product I would have bought if I had seen them before buying. The sauce itself was fine - made a good meatloaf.

I enjoy cooking so many dishes that require tomato sauce or cooked tomatoes. It's perfect for soups, great base for enchilada sauce, or of course proverbial spaghetti sauce.
