These claim to be 1", but are actually closer to 1 1/2", which did not work well for us as we were looking for 1" exactly.

Awesome budget option for binders. Really basic and overall convenient. Like others have noted it doesn't have any inner pockets, which may be an issue for some. I rebind my binders so this was not an inconvenience for me. I almost took off a star simply because the tape that holds the binders together put noticeable strain around the edges of the binder. This created a somewhat permanent crease around the top and bottom edges.
