The seals on the lids easily comes off. I returned this item due to the lid problem.

Returned due to poor quality of seals. All seals fell off upon opening and would not seat back on.

Poor construction

I found chipped edges on some of the glass containers. I will be taking it back for an exchange. Hopefully I will find a set that is not chipped. Otherwise I will go with the other well-known brand that had fewer pieces for more expensive price. But assume they are better quality the Makers Mark brand.

Thick glass, good-quality glassware that goes from the freezer, to the fridge, to the microwave, to the oven, and to the dishwasher, with no worries about chemicals leaching into your food.  I've purchased several sets to replace the plastic.
