I've bought several packs to gift and keep, but the last pack 2 of my lids cracked with normal use. The glass is strong, I have dropped on counters with no breaks. Absolutely love them to pack lunch and keep food fresh. Will inquire in-store about the broken lids for last pack.

We had a set of Plastic Storage units that we wanted to replace because of the plastic contamination issues being discussed. This set was a good buy and we thought the reason the plastic were hard to close was that the tubs would flex and not close and as a result it was hard to snap closed. However these glass units were even harder to snap close and for 70+ year old's it was not going to work, so we returned them.

I primarily use them in my toaster oven (without the lid). Great for preparing a variety of side dishes. Microwave safe too. Storage is great. They fit inside each other so it is great for a small kitchen. The only negative is the lids. They're difficult to seal. I don't have arthritic hands and I wouldn't recommend this item to anyone with challenges opening and closing things. I often need help closing/sealing the lids.

I like the set but I find some of the pieces are hard to snap closed. I can get one snapped but the others will just not work for me. I'm 75 so that might account for part of the problem. I get my hubby to help me. I hope it gets easier as they get used more.

I just left the ER because I had my lunch in one of these "shatterproof, tempered glass" containers and I did not see these very thin shards of glass from the inside of the container. The shards of glass looked as though someone "peeled" glass from the inside of the container. I was eating chicken & rice/gravy and ended up with a piece of glass in my mouth. Thankfully I did not ingest that particular piece, but the ER said that they were so small that the tests would not show up. SO PLEASE DO NOT BUY THESE AND TAKE A CHANCE OF GLASS IN YOUR FOOD. The lids go on much too tight and we think that because of that, it puts too much pressure on the sides of the container. The inside of the dish had the broken glass from around the inside edge. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. WE DON'T WANT ANYONE TO EXPERIENCE THIS. This was extremely frightening and I still do not know if any glass was ingested. My ER bill will be over $700, so we are out that money too. However, so far so good and I will consider myself blessed that it wasn't worse. See attached photo. You can see that the glass is thinly shattered around the inside area up near the edge. They were never dropped or mishandled. The issue is strictly around the edge where the top goes on. Needless to say this was extremely frightening. DO NOT BUY THESE!

I own several of these in PC brand but I was not expecting to find something so similar and actually BETTER than what I already owned. The latches on these are much more secure and they are exactly the same otherwise, other than so so much more affordable!!! Great buy!

If you are looking for a latest, staple kitchen item on the market...then YOU FOUND IT! Since I brought my Glasslock storage set home, it's been a game changer. If you are looking for a storage set that can be stored easily, YOU FOUND IT! Even though you are blessed with a set of 24 pieces, it could be overbearing in your cabinets. But that is not the case here. My cabinets are organized wonderfully since each of the pieces can be stored within another. If you looking for a storage set that will keep your food fresh, YOU FOUND IT! My family, including myself, were not huge left-over eaters. And this was mostly because the food would lose its freshness throughout its time in storage. With our Glasslock pieces, the seal is so great that air never ruins our food. And we can keep our stored food in the fridge even longer than before due to this product's great seal. If you are looking for a product that is durable, YOU FOUND IT! I am not saying, test this product out by dropping it. But I will confirm that I am a clumsy person. and I have accidentally dropped it on hard tile and wood floors before. And as it dropped, I did initially cringe because its glass. But this product is so strong, that it never broke, cracked, or chipped. I am so amazed. As long as you read how to take care of the product (like putting the lid on the top shelf of your dishwasher...which I had to train my husband haha) then Glasslock will last you for many years to come. My family has had our Glasslock products for almost four years. And we have bought multiple sets, but that is not because we need to replace. We just absolutely love this product so much, we bought more! And you'll fall in love, too. We have even purchased it for our family member's household and it's our go-to wedding present! And now, its the only storage product that exists in our kitchen. To say that I recommend this product would be an understatement! And since this product has saved my kitchen and has made my life so much easier, I feel like its my soul duty to become a promoter for it! You'll thank me later.

The gaskets in the tops will hold moisture. I had a horrible smell coming from my kitchen cabinets. It was the containers! Even if you follow manufacturer recommendations and remove the gasket for cleaning, the smell is still there. I have used minimal bleach and bleached the gaskets and lids. Don't buy these unless you like smelling mildew from your cabinets and in your food. I would not recommend buying them at all. I would give it zero stars if possible. The gaskets will also puncture when trying to remove with a butter knife as recommended by the manufacturer.

I bought these and immediately decided to get rid of my plastic storage bowls with all their stains and melty spots. I gave each of my three grown daughters a set and they love them as well. Now my grandson, who is leaving the nest, wants his own so I am soon buying a fifth set.

Bought another box of this stuff yesterday; first box in storage due to kitchen renovation. Washed and dried, every piece of glassware and lids seems perfect - no odors, no chips, no lid-flaps broken; each lid snaps down on all 4 sides of all 12 containers and were easy to open with the flick of my thumb. Some of the seals/gaskets separated from lids - cleaned and reinserted them without issue; they seem to be working just fine. My issue with the product has to do with conflicting safety and usage instructions. In response to a review, Glasslock Customer Service commented, “Feel free to take glassware from fridge to freezer to microwave & oven.” They did not include what’s on the box lid: “Oven must be preheated before inserting glassware.” The box lid warnings also state, “Avoid sudden temperature changes to glassware.” Seems to me, taking glassware from the freezer and inserting it into a preheated oven is definitely exposing the glassware to a sudden temperature change; even thawed out, the glassware is still much colder than a preheated oven. The box lid warnings also say, “Do not use glassware in a toaster oven.” In addition, another warning cautions, “Do not place hot glassware on any metal surface” while also saying, “Allow glassware to cool on a cooling rack.” My cooling racks are all made of metal. I'm saving the original box in the event a return is necessary down the road. Sure am happy with Sam’s 100% Customer Satisfaction policy and hopefully Sam’s will honor it if these glass containers with lockable lids don’t hold up the way they’re designed to. That being said, I’ve read the reviews and will keep the issues addressed in mind. Meanwhile, I am pleased with the product thus far and hope they hold up over the test of time.
