We've been using plastic food storage sets for as long as I can remember. They end up getting discolored and would crack in the freezer so we had to replace them on a regular basis. I saw this set at Sam's. It had the sizes I wanted AND was on sale. Win, win! These are great. No more discoloration and cracks.

I purchased this set since I had another pyrex set with snapware covers. The issues I had with this set is that the rubber gaskets is removed easily and collects water and other food items. To clean you have to remove them and put them back which is not convinient. Also the latches are on the hard side. I had the pyrex brand before and the quality of the glass is not as good as the pyrex. My other snapware covers has the gaskets as part of the cover and not removable and doesn't collect food or water. Unofruntately I returned them, I recommend the other pyrex/snapcover brands instead.

I absolutely love these! I got rid of all my old plastics, most of which were not BPA free. This set has a great variety of sizes and a bonus is that because they are glass, it is so easy to immediately see what is inside even in the freezer. I have put them in the microwave with no problems and have not had difficulties with the lid that some reviews have mentioned. I like them so much that I am thinking of getting another set.

I ordered 2 sets that have made food storage and cleanup faster and easier. Do yourself a favor, chunk the plastics and embrace the glass!

I like the set but I find some of the pieces are hard to snap closed. I can get one snapped but the others will just not work for me. I'm 75 so that might account for part of the problem. I get my hubby to help me. I hope it gets easier as they get used more.

The glass is heavy, if you are used to plastic your family might have a hard time adjusting ( dropping them, fumbling, etc.) Also the seals in the lids come out easily so you have to watch for that - that is a good thing for clean, not so great when trying to close the container

Lids fit easily and securely, no leaks during transport. Seals in lids are easily removable for washing. I love that these nest with the lids on. Saves a lot of storage space in cabinets. I am so over plastic storage containers not coming clean in the dishwasher if there is staining from food or the least little bit of oily film from a sauce or salad dressing. If I have to completely hand wash or soak to remove prior to placing in the dishwasher, what's the point of the dishwasher? I've tried every brand of dishwasher liquid, powder and pod and every rinse agent to no avail. Gave away, recycled or repurposed all of my non-glass containers and now only use these. LOVE THEM!!

These are great, but some of the lids are very hard to snap in place. From what I’ve read some need Breakin-in. They are better than plastic ware for left-overs. They’re microwave safe for heating food (they don’t melt) plus they’re dishwasher safe, but put lids on upper shelf.

These are the best containers ever! They keep food fresh longer than anything else. I’ve had strawberries in them that are still fresh a week later! They’re great for leftovers and freeze very well. I love them so much, I bought another set and tossed all my other containers. Highly recommend!!
