The quality and durability of this glass storage set is amazing, all the good things other reviews mention are completely true. My reason for 4 stars is how smooth the top of the lids are. When you try and stack on container on top of the other, because the lids are so smooth the container on top has no traction, no friction and it slides easily. I wish the surface of the lid was somewhat textured or had some rubber or silicone or even made matte so stacking wouldn't be risky.

This is not the same set I bought years ago. The lids are uneven and dont line up with the dish itself. They are extremely hard to close, I either have to ask my son or push against the counter edge to close them. The snaps are so thin they feel as if they are going to break off. On a couple of them I can't even close them! Not happy with this set. Unfortunately I threw the box away and as I started to use them is when I realized they were not a good purchase! Wont buy again. Can't recommend!

Quality has definitely gone downhill. I bought this set a few years ago and the older ones were much sturdier and never chipped. As soon as I opened the new box, one of the containers was already chipped on the edge. The lids feel much thinner now and the glass feels more delicate overall. I honestly just don’t feel safe using them.

We’ve had our set for a while now. I don’t like that the seals get mildew (other ones we have don’t). We take them out and clean them but they break. Also one out of four sides often times doesn’t close. Bought a new set because it seemed like they improved. Nope! The seals are the same. Going back.

These glass bowls seem to be the same quality as the older version BUT the plastic lids have changed. The lids are so cheaply made and so thin that they warp and bow (and they have never been in the dishwasher or the microwave.) I'm very disappointed in the reduced quality of the these bowls.

I’ve had these a few months and the performance is not good. The lids hold water and grow black mold inside, unlike snapware.i would not recommend these. They he sizes up hat come with the set are very convenient but you he performance isn’t worth the hassle.

These containers seal very securely, and keep food fresh for longer than any storage container I've tried. I also like that they are made of glass, with only the lid being plastic, so hopefully a healthier option for storing leftovers. The thing that costs this set a star for me is that some of the lids on the larger containers are extremely difficult to close. However, I enlisted my husband to help, and he showed me a way that I can accomplish it at last. I had been trying to: A. Press opposite sides simultaneously with my fingers, and IF I was fortunate enough to get them closed, rotate the dish and repeat on the two remaining sides. -------------------OR------------------------ B. Press one side at a time down with fingers, and keep going around the dish until all were sealed. Most of the time, not all the tabs would go down and/or my hands got too sore to keep trying (57 year-old grammy, but still pretty strong). So, here's what my man did that works best: Rolling your palms from the opposite edges of the top of the lid down over the tabs, with steady pressure. They snapped into place quite a bit easier this way, and I am finally able to get them closed on all sides.
