[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do my best to avoid using plastic in our home - particularly the kitchen where they come in contact with consumable products. That’s why for ages these are the containers I prefer. These are some of the reasons why: 1) NESTING / SPACE SAVER: Of all the glass storage options these are my favorite because they really do nest beautifully on top of each other which makes their storage very easy. I have limited space in the kitchen and store these with the lids on while stacked on top of each other. Saves me a TON of space! 2) GLASS: just as mentioned before, I absolutely love these because they’re made of very durable glass. I have arthritis and Lord knows how many times these have slipped my hands and to this date, I have yet to break one! 3) OVEN AND DISHWASHER: while I would have loved if these were stove top safe as well, I can’t think of any glass item I have found that is. These are, however, oven safe (Lids excluded of course). They’re also dishwasher safe with lids being compatible with top rack only. 4) ASSORTMENT OF SHAPES AND SIZES: this set is absolutely perfect in its assortment of the shapes and sizes - redrabgular and square large to medium to small to mini. I can’t say I use one less than the others as the tiny ones I use almost daily to store and retrieve minced garlic (I hate mincing garlic for every single dish so I mince a large number of bulbs at a time and store them in the tiny containers. They’re absolutely perfect for it or any dips and sauces! 5) EASY TO WASH- because of the shapes the lack of grooves these are a breeze to wash. One thing I did notice with this particular batch unfortunately was that the rubber seal on the rims very easily gets removed while you’re trying to lift the lid. They easily snap back on and are easy to Wash with not a lot of food getting stuck in the grooves, so it’s not a big deal but it’s still worth mentioning. These would undoubtedly be considered as one of the top most essential kitchen essentials in my opinion. They provide a lot of versatility and practicality at affordable prices while ensuring you stay away from plastic coming in touch with your food. I highly recommend getting them if you have not already!

I wanted to move from storing my food in plastic to glass. I already had some Anchor Hocking round glass bowls and wasn't happy with them. (The plastic lids have a tendency to split... even the newer red ones.) I decided to try these Glasslock containers and LOVE them. They stack neatly when empty. The lid locking mechanism is awesome. I use them in my cupboard, fridge, and freezer. They're great to take along on picnics. I've popped them in the microwave directly from the freezer with no issue. I'm going to buy a second set today, as I could use some more

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So many pieces and such great quality. They seal very tight which is awesome. They are also over safe and stack nicely. They fit in each other for extra space in my cabinet. Made a veggie salad and this has kept it fresh tasting and everything nice and crisp like I just cut it up.

Upon unboxing this set, my first response was “How am I going to store all of these pieces?”. But as you can see by my photo, this was not an issue at all! The pieces are sturdy, stack well and are great for storing a variety of foods, even liquids because the lids seal quite well. A very nice, healthy choice over having unhealthy plastic ones all over the place. And they are dishwasher safe and microwaveable (minus the plastic lids).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are really nice food storage containers! They are leak proof and keep food fresh! The glass is thick and durable! The locking top lids have a nice seal on them! I also love that these are microwavable and also oven safe! These also stack together great as it saves space in the cupboards!

Bought them about four months ago because we want to get away from plastic. The lids fit well, but I prefer to NOT put them in the dishwasher as they "shrink" and are very hard to put on after they have been through the full cycle. Also, the lids can stink, a very foul petro-chemical smell. I'm quite dismayed to read that they explode, we'll have to be very careful with them. Really expected a little better quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these glass storage containers. They are thick and the seal is certainly airtight. The fact that there are different sizes is great. I used them for leftovers and to take lunch for work. They can be used in the microwave for reheating but the lid must be removed. Very easy to clean up after use, the inner seal can be removed too. Overall great quality and durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been slowly trying to phase out my plastic food containers for glass containers. These came well packed and they nest nicely inside of each other for compact storage. I ran them through the dishwasher before putting them in my drawer and they seemed to do great. I love the variety of different sizes. I think these will be such a nice addition to my kitchen.

I bought these about 3 months ago and love the variety of sizes and how sturdy the are but I have one complaint and it’s that the lids have become REALLY hard to snap on and off. I have a semi functioning wrist and elbow from and accident and there’s been times where I actually cannot remove the lid and have to use something different. Don’t know if it’s a running theme or not but it’s been a hit or miss for me
