[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We use these as a replacement to some all plastic storage containers and prefer them much more. The glass doesn’t get stained by any sauces, much safer to microwave, and you can see very clearly what’s inside. The lids snap one everything because the container doesn’t flex like plastic ones do.

I was not thrilled that some of the smaller lid tabs were broken when I opened everything up. Also the rubber sealer in the lids, a lot of them were causing the lids to not open and then as they opened the seal came out of the lid and I had to put them back in. Some of the seals would not go back in correctly. The containers that I have used hold food well and are great for left overs or even the freezer.

Bought them about four months ago because we want to get away from plastic. The lids fit well, but I prefer to NOT put them in the dishwasher as they "shrink" and are very hard to put on after they have been through the full cycle. Also, the lids can stink, a very foul petro-chemical smell. I'm quite dismayed to read that they explode, we'll have to be very careful with them. Really expected a little better quality.

Upon unboxing this set, my first response was “How am I going to store all of these pieces?”. But as you can see by my photo, this was not an issue at all! The pieces are sturdy, stack well and are great for storing a variety of foods, even liquids because the lids seal quite well. A very nice, healthy choice over having unhealthy plastic ones all over the place. And they are dishwasher safe and microwaveable (minus the plastic lids).

It's a decent glass set but I attached a picture of the warnings as well essentially not a good piece to use if you want to store leftovers and then throw the glass in the oven to heat up later because it has a high chance of shattering. They are also a bit smaller than I realized. May be good to pack a lunch for work as long as it doesn't need to be microwaved.

The lids have nice gaskets that seem to seal against the glass bottoms really well. My favorite is the satisfying snap they make when you close the lid. We like the multiple size options that nest into each other really well. So far, it's a big hit!

The lids are extremely hard to put on the glass containers. I have to push very hard and even then sometimes they will not go on. My husband also has the same problem. The lids are top shelf dishwasher safe which is great, but the "tabs" on the lids that attach to the containers do not bend down when not attached to a container. The larger lids are too wide/tall to fit on the top rack of my dishwasher unless I pretty much lay them flat which takes up a lot of room. The lids take up more room in the cabinet than the glass containers because you cannot fold the lid "tabs". My daughter's set (not this brand) has hinges on the lids, they easily fit in the dishwasher, stack nicely in the cabinet and are easy to attach to the containers. I like the variety of sizes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These lids are awful on this storage set. As soon as I opened the first lid, the one side/lock broke off. Multiple other lids had cracks in them already before using. The lids are very hard to get on and lock/open. The seals pop on and off, which I guess is better for cleaning but it makes them difficult to use. I love that the containers are glass, but the lids ruin it for them.

Let me show you how thick and sturdy it is. Even the lid is beautiful and sturdy. The silicon pad is the same... really recommend this product, you should really buy and use it.
