I've decided to switch from plastics to glass just because I feel that the plastics are releasing oils/chemicals in my food over time. They stain and don't feel clean. These Pyrex containers set probably has more small containers I would probably not use because they're just too small to hold very much. Each one have their own covers and they flip and lock on all four sides. How long will those last, I don't know. That's something I'll find out over time. They do seal properly and the rubber gaskets tend to come out. In a way, that's ok so you can clean them. They stack well and covers are bulkier than normal, but I'm liking the switching to glass so far.

I've wanted to buy these for years but kept putting purchase off. When they went on sale I could not resist, although now having experience with these I would pay full price. I love the glass and boy do those lids snap. Food is kept fresh and they also serve great for baking (bottoms only). I do wash by hand although this is not required. The variety of sizes is wonderful and they stack beautifully in both the cupboard and the refrigerator/freezer. I'd recommend to a friend.

My husband bought me this set a few months ago and so far, I've been very happy with the quality and construction of the glass containers and the lids. However, tonight re-heating a small amount of egg noodles (maybe 1 cup) in the middle-sized square container for 90 seconds, the glass suddenly shattered inside the microwave and the glass broke into two large pieces with smaller shards that landed into the noodles and about the inside of the microwave. Now, I'm afraid to use them in the microwave or the oven for fear of this happening again. I may return them to Sam's Club for a refund and try to find a different brand. The description says these are safe for oven, microwave, and freezer.

We recently moved from plastic to glass food storage. We really like our new glass pieces because they keep our food more fresh with the snap and lock lids and they are easier to clean. The containers don't stay stained when storing certain foods like our plastic ones did.

I bought this almost a month ago and I'm still trying to find time to take it back or just call it a loss the biggest container can hold about a half a small bag of grapes ..the smallest container..no.lie can hold five grapes....no I do not need small glass containers like that will be returning..I thought they would be bigger..you get what you pay for

This is a very good quality set of glass storage containers. Have had these for a month or so and I really like them. The seals around the lids are excellent. You really have to force the lids off. I’ve haven't had any leaks. The only con is there are too many smaller containers. I would trade the four smallest containers for two much larger ones. This set is better for singles or a small family.

I loved them, good assortment of shapes and sizes, good price... EXCEPT, the lids are NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE to snap close. My daughter-in-law watched me struggle, so she tried, then my son... NOPE... we settled for 2 of the 4. Now, I'm trying to get the set back together so I wanted to put all the lids on so I can nest the set to take up less space... my hand is SORE from pounding on them. I tried making sure the gasget is firmly in place... but that didn't help. Was ready to resort yo hammer, but knew that would be counter-productive. PLEASE, Will those who gound them EASY TO LID, please tell me what I am doing wrong! Thanks!

Glass containers are so much better for you than plastic.12 containers, 6 square and 6 rectangular from large to small, all with locking lids. Each shape stacks for storage to save space, both in cabinets and refrigerator. All this at a great price. I'm never going back to plastic.

I saw a food blogger on You Tube using these and thought, I want some too! I had a few glass bowls, with lids, but not locking lids. I do not like plastic bowls, so when I received these, I discarded most of them. I absolutely love these bowls as they make it easy to see what's inside, they keep my food fresh and tasty. They go from fridge, to microwave, to table very easily. Sometimes, I put parchment paper inside to keep my food dry and fresh. I'm thinking of purchasing a set for my daughter, who loves to cook!

These are the best storage containers you could buy. I have two sets of them. I wash them in the dishwasher and the lids I put in the upper rack. With glass, you don't have to worry about food residue like you do with plastic containers. The stack so easily in the cabinet I absolutely love them.
