I've decided to switch from plastics to glass just because I feel that the plastics are releasing oils/chemicals in my food over time. They stain and don't feel clean. These Pyrex containers set probably has more small containers I would probably not use because they're just too small to hold very much. Each one have their own covers and they flip and lock on all four sides. How long will those last, I don't know. That's something I'll find out over time. They do seal properly and the rubber gaskets tend to come out. In a way, that's ok so you can clean them. They stack well and covers are bulkier than normal, but I'm liking the switching to glass so far.

These storage containers are great. The seal very well. oven proof and microwave use. Do not cook with the lids on or you will destroy the lids. Use foil or clear wrap if in microwave. foil in the oven. Dishwasher safe. Plan on getting another set soon.

I actually really love these; just took off a star because sometimes it's hard to close them. If you have arthritic hands it might bother you. I'll probably buy another set soon; they're great for freezing, microwaving, storing, everything. Love the thick glass and the tight seal. Wish the shapes were a little easier to stack when not in use. But otherwise the variety of shapes works great for various needs -- leftovers, larger meals, portioning, etc.

I bought 1 set a few months ago and fell in love. Decided I needed more bowls so I bought another set! They are heavy duty! I especially love that the bowls can go in the oven! The one thing I don’t care for is the plastic piece in the lid. It serves a purpose although it can be hard to clean.

I am done with plastics for several reasons. Health wise, I think it is necessary that we go back to the basics, which is glass. If plastic straws are bad, then what makes plastic containers safe? (crickets chirping...) This is a nice set and has lids that are BPA free. Great sizes, and I'm thrilled with the price. Microwave, oven, freezer usable. Thanks, Sam's, you've done it again!

I bought this set and I am very pleased. I like that you can stack 3 pieces together for storage, it really cuts down on storage. I especially like that the kids snap on tight, I have a different brand at home from a different purchase and the lid almost falls off. I also like the variety of sizes, you can store just a little or quite a lot. i would recommend these storage containers.

Love these containers. Because they fit inside the others, saves room. Also, they seals perfectly. I pack my husbands breakfast and lunch everyday. Move to be able to use glass instead of plastic to heat up his meals at work. Have had over a month and no problems. Think I want another set!

Some of the containers are just too small to be useful and the lids are oddly shaped so not all that happy with this purchase. I should have looked for more normally shaped lids - these are hard to use and hard to store and the containers dont stack well either...

I thought it would be smart to start using the glass food storage, there’s too much plastic in the world. The price was right & went for it. I love the snapper lids, EXCEPT the smallest size is impossible to get off or on, so I have to use PLASTIC WRAP when using them…not so smart !

Absolutely love these. The price was great for these glass containers. I usually get plastic, but they get funky in the dish washer, white patches of soap or something on them and I just throw them away. The glass are so nice and they seal very well. I use them in the pantry, fridge and freezer. Will probably purchase another set.
