I started using peel/close envelopes to stop the licking or sponge method years ago. I was near the end of previous box and these seem similar enough to warrant my approval for future repeat purchase. Positive feature: the safety inside inking to hide contents from external viewing/snooping. Note: I was pleasantly surprised the closing of envelope allowed reopening for fixing alignment or add document before resealing again. I did not verify length of time required for this bonding of flap to become permanent, if at all.

These are really good envelopes! I'm used to paying more at the office supply store, so I was really impressed with the Sam's club price! I like to get a big box so they last me awhile. Even if you have a small business, I would recommend these envelopes!

Great product at a great price. I have used the Members Mark envelopes for years and they continue to be the best and easiest to use. I can run envelopes through my printer without them sealing and then I can pull the strip away and the envelopes seal very well. Works much better than just the self-sealing envelopes without the protective strip.

There are 402 students at our elementary school. I was sending a fundraising envelope home with each one and since it’s a fundraiser I look around for a great price, so the expenses stay low. I expected the envelopes to be quality, and they are! It was important for a strong seal because cash/checks were coming back in the envelope and let me tell you the money was locked and safe in those envelopes. Best deal ever!!

Doesn't appear to be 28 lb paper. I bought these because I finally ran out of a box of 500 "Columbia" envelopes that I bought from Sam's several years ago. The newer envelopes are not even close to the quality of the older ones. The adhesive strip is narrower and "puckers" the paper when the envelope is sealed.

I have not had a problem with the price and quality. We have been using this product for 4/5 years. BUT, this batch is more narrow in the folds, so 3 or 4 regular pages fit tight. The adhesive strip is even shorter, so we have to use more tape or glue on each end. So, what happened to the quality?
