Best trash bags.

I've been buying these kitchen trash bags for several years and though they were not a name brand they did the job. Well last year they did not have them in stock so I bought the Glad kitchen bags instead and they were awful. The draw string came out on one end as well as pointy things poked right threw the bag. I was surprised to know that Member's Mark bags were better than Glad Trash Bags. Let me say this I will never buy Glad again they don't do what they say and they are not worth the money.

Great trash bags. They are very strong and love the scent! When you place this bag in your trash can in the kitchen it's equal to an air freshener. I was very surprised at how well they hold up and how many you get for the price. These will be our go to trash bags from here on out.

I bought these by mistake, thinking that they were the same ones I had purchased before. Turns out they are scented. The odor permeated the entire house. If one likes the odor, I suppose that could be a good thing, but I don't think I like any odor THAT much. The odor is so strong that it actually made my eyes burn and water. Needless to say, I exiled them to the garage ASAP, but then found that the odor got into my car. I eventually gave them to my sister...although in retrospect, that may not have been such a great idea because now I'll have to put up with the smell whenever I visit her. I eventually made it back to Sam's and bought the ones with no odor, and they are fine, They are slightly smaller at the top than other kitchen bags that I have used, so it is a bit challenging to get them into some of my receptacles, but I have managed, and so far nothing has broken from the strain. And Sam's price is quite a bit lower than the brands that fit better, so there is some incentive to put up with the tighter fit.

We feel these are better than glad bags or any name brand ones we have tried. We tend to have heavy garbage by the time we take it out (I mean, 5 kids with 3 in diapers makes for some serious weight) and the other brands always rip either the bag itself or the ribbon handle. I almost never have that trouble with these. If it’s really bad I get a good fistful grip on the bag on the sides to lift out and that almost always prevents ripping. This trash bag is generous in size - several years ago a major plastic bag manufacturer changed the size of their 13 gal. kitchen garbage bags making them too short. That bag no longer fit my garbage can. They heard the public's cry and came out with a larger bag and fits those cans... HOWEVER, the price of that bag has gone ballistic with the price of oil going sky high; plastic is a derivative of oil. So I started searching for an alternative - and this is a GOD SEND. The bag is well made, fits the 13 gal. cans of taller size (27") and so much cheaper - markedly cheaper but the quality is the same. I was so thrilled I bought 600 of these bags for my house (not a restaurant, for my house!!). The bag is 33% cheaper than the other bag. I am sold on this bag - I highly recommend it.

To my surprise these are very sturdy. Have overpacked them and put liquids in them, but so far no breaks, leaks or cuts. Ties are also working great. Probably buy a couple of boxes a year for the past few years. Great product for Members Mark to put their name on.

I’ve bought this Member’s Mark brand of trash bags for several years now. Recently bought a box of the name brand bags because they were on sale. BIG MISTAKE!! The quality of the name brand bags was so subpar compared to my Member’s Mark bags which I had been using. Will not make that mistake again! I just purchased the Member’s Mark brand and I’m thrilled to have them in the house again!

I absolutely love these! They last a while for me. They do not tear easily & I stuff them with tons before taking the trash out. I also ordered a box for my mother & she loves them now. She has more people so more trash to take out & they last a while for her as well. The price has increased. When I first started to buy these, I caught them on sale for I believe, $12.48 or $12.98 but at that time the original price was $14.48 or $14.98, the very first time that I purchased them, in-store. But even though they have increased in price, I still love them. Hope that they do not increase the price anymore though….
