I bought this a month ago. This is unlike the other trash bags I’ve used. I need to tear open a hole for the strings to come out. I don’t know if this is a common issue for all member Mark’s trash bags. I thought I could get used to it but after a month it’s still pretty annoying to have to do that. The trash bag is sturdy. My only complaint is that there’s no pre cut string.

Even when they're not on sale for an even lower price these kitchen 13-gallon trash bags are a good buy at their regular Sam's Club price. They're durable, flexible, I like the pull-string closure, and the box opens in a way that makes it easy to quickly dispense single bags right from the box when you're quickly grabbing them one-by-one to change the bag. They're near-perfect, the one flaw being that they've apparently discontinued the lavender scent, which was my favorite. The current available scent (Fresh 'n' Clean) isn't as appealing, though it's fine. And they have an unscented version for those who don't like the scented versions.

I've been using these bags for several years and love them, but my recent shipment smells like they changed the scent. It almost smells like fabulosa which unfortunately gives me a headache. The scent is too strong, it used to be very subtle and pleasing to the nose. I guess I will switch to the unscented, but the bags are excellent quality and fit my trash can very well.

I used to buy glad but got sick of them ripping every time I pulled them out of the trash can... these member mark trash bags have never ripped and are actually cheaper. I will only buy these from now on and have recommended them to family and friends.

These bags are not at all "Tall" kitchen bags! They don't even come close to the bottom of the kitchen can (maybe 3/4 of the way?) let alone go around the outer lip of the can to hold properly. These have been demoted to our "last resort" bags in the cabinet.

I have always bought Members Mark kitchen garbage bags . Now it appears that you only carry those that are scented. Some of us, like me, cannot handle the strong scented bags. Please get the originals back,so that I don’t have to buy other brands. Thanks

I purchased these bags because they were on sale, WOW I can’t believe how good they are. I’ve always bought the name brand because who wants their trash bag breaking? Well These were a bargain so I decided to try them, I’m so glad I did! My new favorite trash bags.

We've been members for 6 years. Bought the regular bags for years. Actually preferred those over the name brand bags.. now, the flex bags.. never will I ever buy those again. They fall into trash can. Thin and tear very easily. Please bring back the regular bags!

While I see, based on the reviews, that this product has been around for over a year, we just finished our last bag in our last box that was the former product. For the record, we use a paper bag inside the tall kitchen bag before putting it into our trash can and this gets removed weekly when hubby does his weekly round of all trash cans in the house. Putting the size change aside (it doesn't affect how it fits in our brand new trash can in our brand new kitchen remodel), the thickness of this bag is such that if you put anything mildly moist in it, it bleeds through the bag and leaves mold in the bottom of the trash can. We were shocked to see mold in the bottom of our brand new trash can. For the last couple of weeks, using the old bags, no problem. New bag... mold! Obviously, we won’t be buying these again!

I’ve tried many different kinds of trash bags and none have ever hugged the top so well. For other brands the top always fell down and trash would go down the side of the bag and make a mess. But these trash bags stay on the top so trash goes to the bottom as it’s supposed to. They are strong and cheap. I will never buy another brand again!
