I have been buying these trash bags for years. Never ripped a single one. This new box, I have used maybe ten. And two of them have ripped taking them out of the can. And it is really difficult to find the strings to secure it closed. Absolutely awful.

We have used Member's Mart Tall Kitchen bags in the past and been very satisfied with them. The last box we purchased are different and while they may be the same volume, the length has been reduced and they will no longer cover the full depth of trash container. By the time you start to fill the bag it will pull off of the top lip of container and fall into it. This results in a less than satisfactory situation. The bag also tears very easily when you try to secure draw strings. This is the last time we will every purchase these bags, unless changes are made to correct situation. I would not recommend these to anyone!

I love scented products but this is crazy. If you ever had to sit near a sweaty lady doused with cheap cologne in a restaurant, this (fresh clean) is like that. I had to move the box out to my garage because it was stinking up my kitchen. The smell even gets on my hands. It creates a weird menagerie of garbage and sickeningly sweet aromas. But as far as strength and function, they are just fine. They were out of original and I needed bags. Never again.

The drawstring don't seem to be held together very good at the seam. If it doesn't break off when I try to fit it over the trashcan (more often break off than not), than it'll break apart when I try to tie the 2 sides together. First I thought maybe the bag was too full or too heavy, but when the load was only half full and very light, the tie still broke at the seam. It's very annoying I must say.

Have been buying Member's Mark Tall Kitchen Bags for years and have been very satisfied until we purchased the new "Power Flex" bags. These things are horrible!! It's like they made them half as tall as the old ones. The don't fit your normal "tall" kitchen garbage can!! These are definitely going back and we won't be purchasing any Member's Mark bags in the future. Who in the world designed these things!!!

These bags are a little short which would probably not be a deal breaker but the drawstrings break on every single bag before you can get them out of the can. I never write reviews but I don't want anyone else getting stuck with a huge quantity of these worthless bags.

I bought these by mistake, thinking that they were the same ones I had purchased before. Turns out they are scented. The odor permeated the entire house. If one likes the odor, I suppose that could be a good thing, but I don't think I like any odor THAT much. The odor is so strong that it actually made my eyes burn and water. Needless to say, I exiled them to the garage ASAP, but then found that the odor got into my car. I eventually gave them to my sister...although in retrospect, that may not have been such a great idea because now I'll have to put up with the smell whenever I visit her. I eventually made it back to Sam's and bought the ones with no odor, and they are fine, They are slightly smaller at the top than other kitchen bags that I have used, so it is a bit challenging to get them into some of my receptacles, but I have managed, and so far nothing has broken from the strain. And Sam's price is quite a bit lower than the brands that fit better, so there is some incentive to put up with the tighter fit.

These aren't your typical 13 gal trash bags, so when I checked the first one out, my first thought was where is the rest of it??? but they'll do for cleaning out the vehicles and other smaller stuff. Just not big enough for our 10 gal can.. (it literally doesn't work in it)

I've been buying these kitchen trash bags for several years and though they were not a name brand they did the job. Well last year they did not have them in stock so I bought the Glad kitchen bags instead and they were awful. The draw string came out on one end as well as pointy things poked right threw the bag. I was surprised to know that Member's Mark bags were better than Glad Trash Bags. Let me say this I will never buy Glad again they don't do what they say and they are not worth the money.

I purchased this a few months ago and just opened them because I just used my last box. Everyone of the bags in this box have no draw strings. I literally have to tear the plastic to get to the draw strings to properly close the bags. I don't usually complain about things but there are 200 bags in this box and so far none of them have draw strings available.
