The bags are not great. At the top of the bags where the drawstring goes through, there are tears in the plastic going over the drawstring. I need to use packing tape on the split plastic areas in order for the bags to close properly.

Not 5 star!

Several years ago I tried every name brand tall kitchen trash bag on the market.  Every one of them were either too thin and would puncture easily or the drawstring would break when I tied the bags up or when I stretched the drawstring over the edge of the trashcans.
Finally after I got a membership at Sam's I tried the Member's Mark Power Flex bags.  Best move I made!  They are strong bags and ties!  I have seldom had a bag rip open and I often put a lot of pressure on the drawstrings and they also seldom break.
I highly recommend this product over all the other NAME brands out there!
