Refined White Sugar

Deception is the name of the game these days, its everywhere, no more trust, it’s verify everything❗️ Bought this sugar thinking it was Sam’s competition with the Zulka’s Morena Pure Cane All Natural Sugar that is in almost all Sam’s Clubs, “It Is Not”❗️Real pure cane sugar has a tan coloring to it, this sugar is just like Imperial Pure Cane Sugar which is ultra refined❗️If you knew how sugar is made white, you would never consume it again❗️

Hit and Miss

So, just be aware...I've used this sugar for toffee making (many, many batches) with great success until the last bag I purchased in Dec. 2025. When I opened the bag, it was lumpy which I had never seen before. When my toffee started heating up, I could tell right away something was off. When I poured the batch it appeared to be "sweating" on the surface. I had never seen that before. The batch set very soft, essentially ruined. I immediately stopped using this sugar and ran out and got some name brand pure cane granulated sugar and I was back on track. Why this happens, I have no idea, but wanted you to be aware for high temp, finicky candy or fudge making, this might not be the ideal choice.
