This is the second batch I've tried (should've quit while I was behind on the first one). Randomly, the pods burst at the seam in the coffee maker blasting grounds everywhere (including in the coffee cup below). I thought maybe the first box I had just had some defective pods but nope, it is happening with this new batch as well. Suffice to say, I will not be buying these again. You will spend more time cleaning out your coffee maker than enjoying the coffee. See the picture of the burst pod attached. NOTE: AFTER this happened to me a second time, I read reviews stating this happened to people as early as 2016 yet SAMS still sells it.

Has a bitter after taste

They say you can’t argue taste. There are countless reviews expounding upon the delicious coffee qualities of these wretched little torture cups. I think they only like it because it’s cheap, for a k-cup, and it resembles coffee. Truth be told, if you went into many diners in the US, you would be exposed to freshly brewed coffee every bit as weak as the Members Mark Donut Shop blend. The diners use commercial coffee makers that brew quickly with half the grounds needed for a solid cup of joe. That’s because they give endless free refills to the chatty seniors who spend hours there. Sams Club is just making the same sorrowful thinness available in a convenient pod. It’s a small price to pay for something that is almost mediocre. It costs more and is a bit more acidic, but a Starbucks pod, any roast, will give you a fuller flavor. Maybe they are using more coffee, or maybe it’s not recycled. I don’t know what the difference is, but Starbucks is coffee. Members Mark DS is something you drink when you don’t want to insult the person who gave it to you. Take baby sips so they don’t offer you a refill. Your tastebuds will be grateful.
