OMG! It's *real* bacon!!

I,ve been buying this bacon product for a few years now. Here are a few things I can pass on to make your purchase better for you. # 1 store your bacon crumbles in your freezer not the refridgerator. it will go bad in the fridge. The package lasts a long time. I use it mostly for a topping, or adding it to soups and grilled cheese sandwiches and omelets. precook 20-30 sec in microwave and pat off some of the fat with a paper towel. tastes & smells yummy.

Ah, Bacon, the candy of meats. I love this stuff. Pre crumbled, I can throw it in anything bland and make it tasty. The only (and I do mean "only") downside is that these little chunks stick in my teeth. But, that's MY problem. The product itself is perfect and exactly as advertised. And even with the chunks in my teeth, I'll still keep shoveling baked potato skins with cheese and these all over them straight into my bacon-hole. Seriously, I can't complain about bacon. I love bacon. Bacon is my binkie. This is just another way for me to enjoy it without having to use my blender first. I especially like the fact that this is, actually, recognizably BACON. Not those little plasticky "bacon bits" you see in shakers and other containers. This is the real thing. BACON. Accept no substitutes.

Yes its bacon. It tastes like bacon. It looks and smells like bacon. These soft bacon bits are full of gristle, cartilage, and other hard unchewable pladyic like bits of the pigs that it comes from. I had to continuously pull hard pieces out of my mouth. I will not buy again and I do not recommend this product to anyone else.

The quality has changed several times over the course of a few months and now consist of 60% fat versus Bacon. I don't feel comfortable feeding my kids something that consist so much fat. We now make our own crumbled bacon from scratch. This used to be a Great item.

This particular Member's Mark batch was sub standard. It had an excess amount of fat and tasteless hard pieces. I mixed it into scrambled eggs and was not satisfied with the taste. Was tempted to return it to the store, but I will struggle through to finish the package.

Nothing beats hot bacon and the heavenly smell that fills the house. However, when a recipe calls for a couple of slices chopped or you need something to add to an omelet or salad this is my go to. I have used it in several holiday dishes as well and no one knows I didn't spend all day over a stove. Microwave for a few seconds and it crisps right up, not chewy. After all, it is bacon, without the work and clean up.

This keeps so good. I crisp up some, add some cheddar at the last minute and spread it on my bread with tomato, lettuce, and mayo for my BLTC. If I buy regular bacon and cook it ahead - cause it’s a pain if I don’t cook it all at once. I just eat it. All of it fairly quickly. This way I can have a BLT and not be tempted to eat that skinny bacon. This bacon really taste good especially if you just warm it up a little in the fry pan.

I wouldn't advise anyone to purchase this. It's more like salt pork chopped up and it's also like trying to chew on rubber strips. There's more grizzle than bacon meat and from the texture, it doesn't taste as though it's fully cooked. Don't be surprised if you have to spit it out rather than swallow it ... can't imagine what it could do to your digestive system. If you're looking for crunchy bacon bits, you may want to buy some quality bacon and make your own.

Most of the reviews say 5 stars but no comments. Probably because they aren't real reviews and just bot generated! These are not crispy, they are just one big clump of fat pieces in the bag. Hormel brand is so much better, unless you want to fry these up yourself and prefer eating just bacon fat?
