This stuff is great in a pinch. It’s really convenient when you don’t want to fry up bacon. However, check to make sure that the bag is airtight when you buy it. Ours want and was growing mold inside. Returned it and replaced it. Keep it in the fridge after opening. Sometimes we find a few tough, gristle-like pieces that are inedible. So be careful. Otherwise they are great on baked potatoes and such. Flavor is great.

Best real crumbled bacon, available for a reasonable price in a useful size. Add to salads, soups, omelettes, scrambled eggs, or even avocado toast. Easily add flavor to lots of dishes by crisping this bacon in a dutch oven before adding other ingredients, like onions. I hope Sam's keeps offering this.

Real bacon pieces. Have used this product for years. It's so convenient to use, saves time instead of having to fry bacon for an added ingredient. I use on baked potatoes, baked beans, salads, in green beans, cooked cabbage, etc. My kitchen wouldn't be without it!

This isn't even close to what it used to be. It seems like it's not fully cooked. Some pieces are so fatty but even worse, there are pieces that are so hard you literally can't chew it. I won't let my grandkids have any because I'm scared it'll break their teeth. It's scary to think what these hard inedible pieces are, but what I do know is they aren't bacon. Won't be buying again. Sam's, do better.

I have bought several packs of these bacon bits over the years, they are always the same. Pieces of bacon, yes, but also large pieces of gristle, fat, parts of rock hard meat, and unknown parts they grind up and put in their bacon bits bag. Absolutely no taste of real bacon! The pieces are so tuff, you can only put a few in a salad or in an omelete, otherwise they dominate and ruin your meal. Many times, I just decide not to use them because they have no taste at all. Not the worst bacon bits on the market, but certainly not a good quality. Could be a good product if they improve the quality.

Don't waste your money on these. They have hard pieces of rind or something in them. Hard enough to break teeth. They are not nearly as good as the Hormel brand. I used to depend on Sam's for my bacon bits. Now I have to find another source. I am not even sure this is real bacon. I NEVER give reviews but was so disappointed in this brand I had to.

Don't buy this. It's about 50% edible bacon and 50% fat and gristle (I.e. the chewy connective tissue in meat). I tried separating good from bad but too time consuming and annoying. Fortunately I have a large dog who's enjoying it as a dinner topper.

I have purchased this product for years with good results, but my last purchase was extremely greasy and mushy. Unfortunately I purchased it to use in a salad for a luncheon and didn't have time to cook my own or run to Sam's to try a replacement, so I had to use it, but the texture and flavor both have me hesitant to purchase this product again.

This product changed a couple years ago and the first time we bought it after the switch up the bacon was grisly and chewy and we couldn't even finish the bag. Have not repurchased since. Bring back the old formulation and stop filling with cheap junk, this one is terrible. Would not recommend.
