Yes its bacon. It tastes like bacon. It looks and smells like bacon. These soft bacon bits are full of gristle, cartilage, and other hard unchewable pladyic like bits of the pigs that it comes from. I had to continuously pull hard pieces out of my mouth. I will not buy again and I do not recommend this product to anyone else.

Bought these bacon bits recently and the quality and taste are all sub par. The quality issue is that they are greasy and leave a film in your hand when you sprinkle and if you close your hand around them they mash into a greasy ball and the size of the bits are inconsistent to where it makes serving a hassle and quality control an issue. The taste is no where near the Hormel brand that the club used to carry

This particular Member's Mark batch was sub standard. It had an excess amount of fat and tasteless hard pieces. I mixed it into scrambled eggs and was not satisfied with the taste. Was tempted to return it to the store, but I will struggle through to finish the package.

I was so disappointed when Sam's started selling their brand. I keep giving this a chance hoping it will be better but the bits are not just very fatty but there are lots of huge chunks of fatty gristle that cannot even be chewed. I'm about to give up and find bacon bits somewhere else as this is just a waste of money.

I have bought this product for MANY years but no more. With the new packaging,this Member's Mark bacon crumbles is now all fat, Grisle, and rock hard tiny bits of meat that used to be tender. I can no longer add to salads, pizzas, recipes, or egg scramble with confidence. Ruined my eggs this morning.

The newly packaged bacon bits are horrible. I have tried two bags hoping that the first bag was just a fluke. There is very little bacon in each bag. These bags are mostly filled with ground up gristle and fat and have poor flavor. Save yourself the money and spend the time cooking it yourself. I will not be purchasing any more of this junk.

We used to buy this product once a month two packages for salads and inner eggs and stuff. But now it is not fully cooked it's mostly grease and fat in the bacon.. basically it's mostly grizzle it's not actual bacon so we will not buy this product again unless you're going to change it back to the way you used to make it thank you

Ive always purchased these bacon bits because they're real bacon and so handy. My past 2 bags purchased, I have had issues with bone fragments in them. And, no, it isn't hard pieces of bacon. Its sharp, pointed bone fragments. Please be cautious if you are eating these. I can not recommend these until you have better quality control of this product. I will not be purchasing any more for this reason.

Lots of gristle and fat. I put some on a paper towel on a paper plate and microwave for 20 seconds to crisp them up and render a little of the fat off in order to make them palatable. Definitely not a great replacement for the Hormel that Sam's used to carry.

Pretty good as usual no complaints
