I wanted bacon bits for omelets and salads. These are big chunks and some are fatty. I saute them a little before eating which helps break down the greasy taste.

There seems to be more fatty pieces than previous purchases. For something precooked I expect the fat to not be cooked off and not so plentiful and visible.

All large bagged bits have increased percentage chunks of fat recently. This is about the same as other big box options. You get better quality/less fat with more expensive little bags at grocery store.

I always make sure I have these on hand, these are actual real bacon bits (not that hard stuff) I use to top my potato soup with bacon, cheese and green onion, great for omelets and anything requiring bacon..I cannot recommend these enough!

One of the best discoveries ever!! A bag o’ bacon?! Omg. Use it everywhere! In mac n cheese. Scrambled in eggs. Sprinkled over maple syrup on your pancakes. Salads! Soups! In a grilled cheese sandwich.

I gave one star, but deserves cero…. One of the most horrible products I ever used. Maybe the flavor and the color is similar to real bacon, but not the “meat”. I needed to throw away a complete dish that was ready for my visitors, after I tasted it and chewed on a piece of pig’s ear or tail or skin (who knows). It was impossible to destroy with the teeth, color was pale pink and had the shape of a pig’s ear. Thinking that my visitors will have the same experience, I said I burned the food by accident and decided to go for pizzas. I will go to the store to try to return it, but for sure is nothing similar to bacon.

Im not one to take the time with reviews. But this product was simply outstanding. I used it on baked beans, my salads, potato soup, and a baked potato. It was marvelous in all those situations. Its very meaty and surprisingly low on fat content (actual fat you usually get with bacon). Don't over think it, just get some, you'll be glad you did :)

Tasty pieces of real bacon to use in salads, soups, etc. these have much better taste than the artificial “bacon” bits you see in shaker bottles. This is real bacon that is crumbled into small pieces. There is a moisture pouch in the bag, so just be careful if you pour directly from the bag that you don’t pour the pouch into your food. They can be a little clumpy sometimes, but definitely worth breaking up a clump or two for real bacon.

These bacon bits were a delicious pleasant surprise. I purchased them for salads, but they were so good, I found myself using them as a flavor enhancer in omelettes, green beans, greens, cabbage, red beans and rice and any dish I would normally use a smoked pork product. Convenient, super flavorful, and last a while if kept cold. I really love these Bacon Crumbles. These are a new staple item in my kitchen.

We have really enjoyed having these bacon crumbles on hand. I assumed they were going to be a little on the dry side when we purchased but I was wrong. They are wonderful. We have used them for bacon crumble toppings, in eggs, etc. I love them and will be purchasing again in the future. Give them a try!
