Bacon!

I don’t know how there are any negative reviews on this product! The bacon is delicious and so versatile. We have used it in so many dishes and my favorite is mixed with my scrambled eggs or on top of avocado toast. This is now a staple in our household.

Quality has gone down

I've been buying this for years to use in salads, baked potatoes, and to quickly add bacon flavor when cooking. In the last few months, it's become more fat than meat. Every bag is just so much more fat. I think it's inflation but I'll rather buy a smaller bag with quality bacon bits at the same price than the same size bag filled with chewy and fatty bacon.

Great Value & More "Real Bacon" Taste

You cannot beat the price on this anywhere else and it doesn't have an artificial bacon flavor, it's more like making real bacon crumbles yourself. The texture is much better than the tiny packs of bacon bits you'd find most other stores that are way too crunchy.

Huge Improvement

We tried these years ago when they replaced the Hormel brand. At the time these were greasy, undercooked and just dreadful. They have upped their game since then. These are now consistently excellent, and delicious. I mainly use them on salads, omelets, pancakes and casseroles. I buy a bad of these every six to eight weeks. These are a great product.

Need to Be Cooked More, But Worth It

These cannot be used directly from the bag, unless you want fatty, partially-cooked bacon. The remedy: empty volume of bag onto 3-4 separate paper plates, lined with and covered by paper towels; microwave for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes; and you will get delicious, crisp bacon bits, with the fat drained off and absorbed by the paper towels, which you can then replace easily into the original bag, by folding to form a pouring spout with the paper plate. I swear, it is not that difficult to do and the end-product is a ton of bacon bits, perfectly cooked, ready for use, to be refrigerated or frozen.

Disappointing

I splurged and bought this, and really wanted to love them. I should have paid closer attention to the unfavorable reviews. The flavor was very good on the meaty parts, but there was a lot of fat. Instead of returning them, I tried cutting off the fat each time I needed crumbles for salads and recipes. Obviously, that was too time consuming, so just gave up and discarded them.

The bacon is great. It's real as advertised. It's as cheap as uncooked bacon, cents per ounce, you would buy at regular grocery stores. Couple things I didn't like had to do with the packaging. It is incredibly easy to tear down past the ziplock and ruin resealable bag if you use the "tear hear" points. You need to use scissors. Point 2: The part that says "keep refrigerated after opening" is on the top section of the bag that gets removed when first opening. If you forget it used to be there, or someone else puts it away, it's easy to put back in a cupboard on accident.

Ewww MOLD!!!!!

We have been shopping at Sam's for many, many moons and are usually very pleased with the Members Mark brand. For the first time we purchased a bag of the "real crumbled bacon" on 2/7/19 with an expiration date of 7/28/19. Opened it today, 2/12/19 only to find the contents moldy. Not a little moldy, like have to hunt for a fuzzy spot. REALLY moldy, like large clumps. The bag was not swollen or punctured in any way. I will be returning it to the store tomorrow for a refund and will raise a stink to have it pulled from the sales floor before someone gets sick.

Extremely Greasy

I find this product extremely greasy and overly chewy. I was looking for more of a bacon bit crunch style, I have resorted to putting them on paper towels and microwaving them and am still unable to get the desired crunch for either salads or baked potatoes. Not very happy with this product at all. Members Mark has failed to hit the mark again.

Slowly getting worse

I have been buying these for years using them daily in omelets, salads, and other dishes. It was good quality bacon with very little gristle and fatty pieces, 1 occurrence every 5 tablespoons. The last 3-4 bags however have had at least 1 piece of gristle per tablespoon, but usually closer to 3-4 pieces of gristle every tablespoon. This may not seem like much but the quality change is very noticable and makes me second guess buying.
