Unfortunately, at least in the bag I got, about every third or fourth almond is a little shriveled up and doesn’t taste very good. The rest are fine. Maybe I got a “bad bag.” Great price though if future bags are better. Might would buy again just to see if I got a bad batch.

These are great eaten fresh from the bag, or roasted with Tamara Sauce, or any favorite flavoring for almonds. Most I eat them fresh from the bag, but sometimes I soak them in Organic Tamara Sauce for about 10 minutes then roast them on baking sheet lined with wax paper at 350 for 10-15 minutes. They taste great.

Repeat purchase, great tasting as is or toast in the oven at home.Place one layer of nuts on a sheet pan (Members Mark) sprayed with Pam. Place in a 350degree oven for 3-4 minutes.Take out & stir/flip nuts over & toast again for 3-4 more minutes. Cool completely. Store in an air tight container. I use the Rubbermaid cereal keeper. 3 pack at Sam's on store or online.

The website shows old packaging that shows no allergy info other then Almonds, but the packages I received have a warning that it “may contain walnuts”. Our son has a severe Walnut allergy, this is very frustrating. I will be calling Sams club today to request a refund.

These almonds used to always have a disclaimer on the back that said made in a peanut free facility. The picture here on the webpage today shows the EXACT same verbiage. However, the last bag that I ordered a few weeks ago now says that the bag may actually CONTAIN peanuts. If you have a peanut allergy in your family and depend on these as a nut source, DON'T.

I've been buying these for years and for the most part they were just as good as Blue Diamond, sometimes even better. But my recent purchase is a game changer. They came in new packaging which is usually a sign that the product itself has changed as well. The almonds are horrible and are almost as hard as rocks! I tried, but I just couldn't do it, I felt like I was going to break teeth on them.

These raw almonds are a great deal! I like to make my own almond butter by dry roasting the almonds at 350F for 15-20 minutes then blend them into a delicious butter with no added oils. Made a batch yesterday and they didn't disappoint. These are great for snacking, raw or roasted, and you can't find them cheaper anywhere else.
