Good product but getting to be very expensive

I love the quality of these plates. They do not soak through and work great in the microwave. The price has jumped significantly during the past 2 years by almost 40% which discourages me from purchasing them as frequently. If the price was still economical, these would be a 5 star product since the quality is decent.

Overall great value

I've been using these on all our camping trips for years, usually feeding 15 people each time. They are really economical and a great buy. They are more sturdy than Styrofoam plates (environmentally better too) and lots cheaper than Chinet. I really like that they have a plastic coating that helps keep liquids from soaking through. You can even cut steaks on them if you aren't too aggressive. They are medium weight and great if you are using them on tables. You may have to use two together if you are going to walk around with them loaded with heavy food. But for the price they are a good buy, and are way better than the thin, cheap paper plates.

NOT AS STURDY AS BEFORE

Family have been buying these paper plates for a long time. We use them to microwave, for barbecues, picnics, kids lunches etc. But this last time we bought this product, the plates are thinner and lighter than before, not as good of a quality. We had been relying on the fact that these are heavy duty and can stand up to most uses - but now we will have to look for a different brand. That's too bad because they were perfect for everything.

These paper plates use to be such a great deal but they have risen the price and lowered the quality. I was ok paying more when the plate was thick and could hold up to getting a but wet but now as soon as the plates gets a bit of moisture it folds and falls apart. I dont see this as a good deal anymore when Im paying 0.07 cents per plate.
