Plates are very sturdy

Great quality

Although I do like these plates, and they work well as a sub for a regular sturdy plate, I am disappointed in the new packaging configuration. Inside the bag, they used to come in packs of about 50 or 60 plates. Then you could store them easier and just grab a wrapped bunch as you needed them. But the bag I received yesterday was a big stack of plates. Such a bummer! It's a pain to send them back so I'll just wrap the stacks myself for storing. I did check my old orders and these do seem to be the same item number as before. I hope someone reads this and starts wrapping individual stacks again. Especially since the price went up. More work for less quality. Sad. :(

They get soggy quickly

This is the second time I've purchased these plates and I am afraid it is the last. I'd like to know if the chemical they are coated with is dangerous for human consumption. You can smell it and if per chance you tend to give the plate a lick you will taste a horrid chemical taste. The last bit of food you eat from the plate also has the taste of whatever it is. It is for this reason that I only the last 100 or so for dry things that have less of a tendency to pick up the smell/taste. I'd love to be able to run an analysis of the coating on these plates.

Must have item in our house. As a busy family it’s nice to be able to grab these and go. Love them.
