leaves bad aftertaste

I love most Member's Mark products, so I decided to try their creamy peanut butter. Wow, it tastes great and is very creamy. However, after scraping my tongue, brushing my tongue with toothpaste and gargling with mouthwash, I could not get rid of the taste on my tongue and in my mouth. I will not buy this peanut butter again.

Thin and runny

I don't know why but when the lockdowns happened with covid, they changed the recipe of this peanut butter or something. It's really runny now. Would probably be good for cooking sauces with but for pb&j /sandwiches it's terrible now. Taste is good but texture sucks.

Not "no stir" anymore

Used to be wonderful but in the last year it has gotten so runny at the top and solid at the bottom. They say it doesn't need to be stirred, but that just isn't the case anymore. And when you stir it, it slops outside of the container and makes a mess. Need to take it to home depot and let the paint department shake it up!

It's just not good

I read the ingredients and realized it wasn't a true natural PB before buying. I still gave it a whirl based on the low price for sandwiches and whatnot. It's just not good. Weird taste, gritty, not peanut buttery. If I'm going to eat not actual natural PB, I'll just stick with Jif from now on.

Costs more than similar Peanut butter at Walmart

Its 12 cents cheaper where I live right now to buy 2 of the 40 oz Walmart's Natural Peanut butter. For this being a Sam's product it should be a lower price than Walmart. I also believe they shrunk the jars as these used to be 48oz now they are 40oz. This one has added sugar and palm oil. Walmart's has 1g less added sugar than this one while still having Palm oil. The natural label is misleading in this case because Palm oil is not natural. If ingredients are important to you this is not the peanut butter for you.

Best pb EVER!

My husband is Mr. Peanut Butter - an *authority." He declares this to be the BEST. AND - it's natural but not all separated and oily and yucky. Doubts you'll find better at such a good price. (Our doggo loves it as well, and she's a picky lil' brat.)

Runny

Tastes good, but quite runny. It ran out of my kid's PB&J. Not a mess I want to deal with every day with a three year old. However, it's perfect for dipping (i.e. apple slices, pretzel rods) and drizzling. True to its name, it does not require stirring.

No great features

Jif was removed from the shelves due to a quality problem that Sam's never notified it's customers about. I purchased this thinking it would be a good substitute. I was wrong. While the taste is OK, the consistency and viscosity sub-par. It separates in the "jar" requiring stirring before use. It becomes almost a liquid and runs off the sides of warm toast. I wonder how it would affect baked goods. This is three time deal for us; first, last and only.

Not worth the effort

For those of you who say this is just as good as JIF, you must not be eating the same JIF that I do. It's not even close, at all, period. Also a hint: if it says "no stir" on the label, you're gonna have to stir it. I don't even know how Sam's gets away with that. Tolerable, at best.

Used to be our favorite peanut butter

We loved this peanut butter because it was delicious, such a good price and had simple ingredients (peanuts and salt). Now, it contains sugar and palm oil which not only drastically changed the texture but also the taste and nutritional value. Boo, Sam's Club. Boo.
