Since this product is low sodium I didn't expect it to be as tasty as other products that are high in sodium. However each can we opened was mostly water. I will not purchase this product again.

Black beans are one of the most healthy beans loaded with phytoestrogens. I purchase a lot of these for a large family. I usually shake each package and listen for lack of water sound, and some times find a few packages that are viscus with very little slosh sound. This last pallet, I could not find any after shaking about 15 packages so had to settle with 5 packages with the least slosh - after draining they have less than 2/3 beans with air space in between. I used a calibrated scale and weighed 8oz of beans... the label says Organic Black Beans Net WT 15 OZ - not "Black Bean Soup". Recall, that I purchased the ones with least slosh, that leaves other customers with a selection of even <8 OZ per 15 OZ can. (The tare weight of the can is about 2 OZ)

Low sodium and taste really good

After a good rinsing, these are wonderful! Organic is best!

Why doesn't my store carry these organic black beans anymore

These are better than other black beans competes with Goya not watery like most canned beans ... Highly recommend!

Sam's branded, Sam's has lot of stuff they started branding Members mark. Not good for resale.
