I'm only giving this 3 stars because the cooking instructions say to cook it for 2 minutes. Wrong! These need to be cooked in a covered stovetop dish for at least an hour. It took me a couple of tries to get it right. It's honestly just easier to buy them canned/precooked. Other than that, they're pretty good when cooked properly! I love black beans.

Cooked these beans in my Ninja Foodi pressure cooker after soaking in water overnight. Nice and tender and flavorful.

We love black beans and always purchase these in Sam's. Especially easy to cook in an Instant Pot and oh-so-delicious!! I also use them to make my special recipe Black Bean Burgers.

This bag of black beans are very dirty with peeled skin, half broken ones. I have been buying Member's mark beans and black and pinto. I have been very happy till this bag of black beans. I wouldn't even give one star! Very disappointing!

These are great tasting in various recipes & they REALLY are useful for easy cooking with a slow-cooker.If you've got a bunch of kids to feed or just simply want to lower your cost of living,cooking with these beans will save you a TON of money...You'll be amazed at all the meals you get from 1 bag of these black beans.My only tiny complaint is that I wish Sam's would sell organic Members Mark dried beans.

Yes, this is a lot of beans. Love the price. We just work gradually through the bag.
