I was using a name-brand biotin and decided to try this since I got so many more pills for the money and it was double the mcg (5000 versus 10000). Big mistake. My finger nails went back to being flaky, thin and brittle in no time. Also, I developed a rash along my arms, stomach, and breasts. I stopped taking these and went back to my Name Brand and have restored nails and no rash. Don't know what's in this but it isn't Biotin and it can give a rash.

Wanted to switch to capsules vs. gel caps. Made a terrible choice is using these. Have absolutely no effect. Prior to taking these, my nails were strong. After maybe 2-3 wks, nails would chip, snag & break. Cuticles were dry & rough. Cannot recommend this formula at all. Have been taking biotin in gel cap form, another brand, for years w/excellent results. Will be returning to my former brand. Disappointed in Sam's quality. Unusual for Members Mark products that I'm generally quite pleased with. These are definitely inferior.

I purchased this item over a month ago and I am so happy I did. I am seeing amazing results.

Easy to swallow. Too early to say if it helps hair growth
