I switched from Lactaid to Members Mark Caplets several years ago and have no regrets, so far. While others have complained of empty individual packets, I’ve never encountered this, and if older people than I have difficulty (I experience only a slight amount or more on occasion) tearing open the water-proof packaging, they should use a scissor and be glad it is waterproof. My own lactose intolerance is in the exit phase only (no discomfort in the stomach or small intestines, just failure to extract sufficient water in the large intestine (producing loose stools), and this lower priced product works well to resolve the problem.

I buy these caplets frequently for my family members who need them. They seem to work just as well as the name brand, at a fraction of the price. I don't understand why they aren't available in store and am frustrated that I have to wait to buy them until I am ready to place a shipping order of $50 or more. This is an item that should be carried in store!

My son is lactose intolerant but loves ice cream and alfredo. These lactase tablets allow him to indulge while keeping him from feeling awful. He prefers these over the chewable kind and the packaging allows us to keep them in my bag and car so we always have some just in case. I’d definitely recommend for someone who has trouble with dairy but doesn’t want to give it up.

I’m very lactose intolerant and these enzyme pills are very necessary when I want to consume dairy. Depending on my food choice, depends on how many pills I take and they always work. Since they aren’t drugs, there’s no effect if you take extra. I’m able to enjoy ice cream, cheesecake, milkshakes, cream pies. I tend to take extra with a milkshake because there’s so much air whipped into the shake which for me can cause additional discomfort. But with extra pills I enjoy my milkshake! Using Lactaid pills is far more comfortable than the pain I experience when I don’t take them. It can be horrible and last for hours. This package is cost affective too! Great buy!

This is a high quality product, absolutely. I've been lactose intolerant for over 35 years, and over the years my need for lactase has increased, even doubled, for the occasional ice cream or milk or "just in case" meals. That's why I would MUCH prefer having a bottle of pills vs. these individually wrapped ones, especially when I have to take 6 or more at a time - it's a nuisance to tear/cut them open in multitudes. I really wish Maker's Mark had a comparable bottle of th180 pills - maybe someday?

Not bad for the price and amount you get. I agree with previous comments, I got a couple boxes that were missing packets or had empty squares without pills. I used to be able to buy it in store, but now it seems to only be available online... I'd prefer to still be able to purchase this in-store!

DO NOT PURCHASE INCLUDES MANNITOL WHICH IS A KNOWN LAXATIVE USED IN COLONOACOPY PREP. GAVE ME THE MOST INTENSE DIARHEA IVE EVER HAD. BEWARE IF SENSITIVE TO MANNITOL (FAKE SUGAR). NAME BRAND DOES NOT CONTAIN MANNITOL

Works as well as brand name Lactaid. Handy individually wrapped tablets can be carried anywhere in your bag. A must for this lactose intolerant girl.

I don't know if I got a bad batch or what, but this last box I got has a little bit of a soap smell to the pills, and they don't work at all. I mean, at all! yikes. I went back to lactaid brand and can eat normally now.

These tablets are individually wrapped and as effective as competitors’ products. Sometimes it’s not available at my store so I order online. Sam’s packaging and shipping is good.
