Assembling this grill myself I can better appreciate the solid construction. The grill is heavy but that is a good thing. I like that the casters wheels all rotate and lock. This allows better maneuvering. I have cooked many things and the grill has excellent temperature control. After the first burner is lit, the others light off each other without having to spark them. Smoking tray does well for some smokey flavor. If I could change one thing it would be the main hose to the tank, it could use about another 6 inches. Best price for this class of grill from all my shopping.

Recent purchase, so not fully time tested. However, there is a reason this weighs in at over 158 lbs. The porcelain covered cooking grates are very thick and much heavier than the gas grill I had previously as are the burner covers and heating rack. This results in a few things: a) the grill will take longer to heat up as the thick metal pieces absorb the initial heat, b) everything should last longer and not rust out quickly from being heated as the metal is thicker and heavier, and c) once heated up, you can turn the grill gas flames much lower and allow the heated grates and grease deflectors to cook the food with less burning. Very pleased so far as it seems easier to cook food without burning and with 5 burners, you can heat where you want, when you want, even using indirect cooking (turn on the left burners and put the food on the right side) for delicate foods or to finish cooking something that you don't want to burn. For the price, it seems to be an excellent grill that is going to give me much better results without having to become an expert chef.

I owned an earlier model of this Sam's grill and loved it. It had a side searing station that I used constantly and it just seemed heavier and better made than this version. It lasted for 7 plus years and I only had to replace 3 (of 4) burners in that time. It did not get super hot but with the searing station that did not matter much. I was looking forward to a long and happy relationship with the new version but sadly it is not to be! First of all this new model is the hottest grill I have ever owned. With just 2 burners (out of 5) on it jumps to 400 degrees in just a few minutes! Turn on another burner and you get into the danger zone and even the handle on the grill lid requires a hot pad or towel just to open and close the fiery beast! The lid gets so hot that when I brushed my arm against it I got a second degree burn! I mean this thing is dangerous! Keep kids away! I'm looking into getting fire resistant gloves and now keep a fire extinguisher close by! That was the good news about the grill. The bad is I have owned it for 20 days and it is already rusting on the side tables! Pretty sure there is no stainless steel anywhere on the exterior of the grill. If it is shiny it will soon be rusty! I never post reviews about products but this one is so pathetic that I thought I should go on a rant and post a warning about this piece of junk! I tried to post some pics of the rusty bits but that did not work.

Bought this for my July 4th picnic. When assembling, the front left wheel bolt broke off in the frame. Picnic that day so I could not return. Other than the bolt breaking the grill itself is very sturdy and worked extremely well for the picnic and since.

Really nice grill. Had to wait weeks to use though due to a manufacturing issue (side burner shelf bracket was welded on backwards). Good customer service but took two weeks to get replacement. Haven't been able to use much to give review about cooking.

Very, Very please with the grill. With all 5 burners going I have come very close to hitting 700 degrees which lead to a 5 Star Steak House quality sear with a wonderful rare center. Easily rivals "bigger name" brands which would be several hundred dollars more for a similar quality.

Very sturdy construction. The hood is insulated in the front which reduces chance of accidental burns. Fast high heat and even heat distribution. Neat features such as drawer for flavor enhanced wood chips, pull out drawers for propane tank and drip pan, and rubber wheels that lock.

I got this for my daughter as her first grill! We always buy ourselves Weber, but thought this would be a good 1st grill! When we opened the box we were amazed at how well built this grill is for this price range! My husband made the comment that it was as nice or nicer than our Weber! You won't be disappointed! Purchased as a gift so haven't used but the quality of the product is amazing and have no worries that it won't produce a good steak!

The grill is easy to put together. It seems pretty durable. What I don't like is the uneven cooking. I need to move everything to the back of the grill in order for it took cook. Very little heat up front, and yes all the burners are working. I seasoned the racks before cooking on them which really helps with meats not sticking. Would I buy it again, no. I hope it at least last for 3 yrs. Time will tell.

First thing I used my new grill for was cooking two pork butts. Did an excellent job, with great temperature control (225 – 250 f). With the five burners it heats up fast and gives you a lot of temperature control. The only down side so far is I know the burners are only last a couple year, so I emailed the help center listed in the manual for information on replacement burners but did not get a response. That is concerning.
