No place on the outside of the box is an expiration date. I purchased anyway. When I opened the box all cans were stamped Sept 01, but no year. In addition 3 of the cans are badly dented. The expiration date should be stamped on the outside of the box. The date including the year needs to be stamped on the can. Poor quality control and should have been caught.

Too expensive

I bought this March 5,2024 and just checked it in my pantry. I'm glad I looked at it BEFORE it blew up all over my canned goods.

I've used this tomato paste to make meat sauce,chili,and spaghetti and meatballs. The paste helps thicken tomato sauces and meat sauces. I use it when making chili for hot dog and just like to enjoy chili on other Mexican dishes.

Compared to other options like Cento, the flavor with our member's Mark tomato paste has been sub-par. It's passable for cooking, but Member's Mark usually delivers better quality than this.

We had our tomato paste shipped and 3 of the cans were completely oozing a thick black substance at the bottom. One can was completely missing a label, another dented. Like many other times that we've ordered, the back of the tomato paste box was opened so we assume the people that work at sams are putting bad cans in the back of the box. This has happened over and over. Thankfully they send replacements for damaged items.

I have been buying this product for several years and I have had no complaints, until the last time I purchased these. Now I am unable to remove the bottom of the can. This makes it difficult to get all the product out of the can. I tried 3 different can openers trying to remove the bottom of the can with no luck. This is very inconvenient. It also makes it difficult to clean the can so it can be recycled. Bring back the removable bottom!

I had this shipped 3 different times and returned it each time. The box was always opened and all the cans were bent.

All the cans were dented in two boxes. I waited a long time before opening the boxes so it’s too late for a return .
